I'll be on the lookout for Optimus. He's one of if not the quinessential Transformers in the MP line. This may be my favorite repaint of him thus far.

 

I would spend more in gas trying to track down one of these in store than if I just sit at home and pay UPS to ship one from BBTS. Fuck you, Toys R Us.

I guess its a good chance for someone who missed out on the MP Optimus that came out in 2012. I am liking StarScream though. Though not at 109 though.

 

I preordered one even though I have the first MP10, I want to see how he looks, I may end up getting the other OP's from the previous year, it looks like they may do all 12 zodiac's.

 

I saw the preorder was up but was surprised by the release date being March and not February. I preordered two from BBTS instead. They've quickly become my goto place for preorders now. I'll grab some from TRU if I can get then on sale or with coupon.

Preordered at BBTS. This will end up being $127 shipped once it drops in my pile of loot. Great price compared to TFSource or TRU.

 

As much as I'd like to get this mold, I am not a fan of the gold bits. I can appreciate that it is a great looking figure, but I'm not sure it would look right in a display with the others. Stand alone, maybe, but just isn't for me.

Ahh that's what I thought that meant.. Ill pass if its that gold version. The gold on him looks too knockoffy for me.. The trailer on the other hand I would love to get, I like the translucent version..

They should've just reissued the original MP10. This Universe 1.0 repaint is such a wasted opportunity.

 

Damnit i agree with you. I think the translucent trailer would look pretty sweet with 20th anniversary optimus. The gold repaint...ugh i will probably wind up getting this just out of principle but i wont be happy about it.

Also $109 for starscream...bleh

 

The trailer would be too small for 20th anniversary. Also I'm going to be seling the trailer when I buy mine. Anyone interested?

I'm guessing Hasbro told them to yank them till 2/1. We'll see what BBTS does now...
