Anyways, these crossovers are getting dumber and dumber each time. Like a crossover for the sake of doing a crossover. I bought Gigawatt and Electron because at least they tied into the 80s when G1 actually happened. But then Hasbro started making head sculpts that resembled particular human characters which is just too geeky and creepy at the same time for my tastes. Crossovers take a special kind of fan I guess. Fiction-wise, I would much prefer a cameos from existing Transformers characters visiting other franchises, rather than a transformer becoming one of the already established characters. But I guess that wouldnt sell weird toys, would it ?

Maybe the removal of the headmaster gimmick accounts for like 3 steps because now you have to pull out a chest flap, fold in a head, and close the chest flap. And maybe partsforming could account for more steps if it comes with accessories. I will laugh if its a WFC mold. I always thought the people who count the number of steps in attempt to determine which mold is being used have way too much time on their hands. Id rather wait for factory leaks than try to play super sleuth, but thats just me.

The Fly will be a bigger problem now since Disney bought 20th Century. Gillman if done in a stylistic way. Really curious about Dracula, the Monster and the Wolfman (I know the last two are not mentioned but are the two most prominent besides Drac)

Now I want a Warruder suit for Diaclone that looks like a Metaluna Mutant from 'This Island Earth', heck even a Warruder pilot figure. One concept that might have been fun was to do them as Pretenders since the 'cons already had a theme of doing monsters.

 

Autobot X would be suitable as Frankenstein's creature. It would be nice if there will be a show accurate action figure of Autobot X from Robot Enhanced Design lineup or Super 7 Ultimates.

 

Mindwipe needs to be the centerpiece to this story otherwise it's just Stupid.

If they go the non-headmaster route, I can see one of the Seacons being used as a Gillman. Skalor might make a good fit (edit: after researching his alt mode, he essentially belongs to a fish that is itself an almsot evolotuionary hybrid with land animals). So it would actually make a good altmode for something like 'the Creature.
