I'm leaving town next week, and won't finish when planned, so I thought I'd post what I have. Please offer any tips or suggestions for improvements.

Looks awesome. I was debating whether or not to call the work on my Leader Prime "close enough" but you've inspired me to keep going. The only thing I notice on the CGI model that I don't see on yours is the blue flames on top of the red cab chest/stomach pieces. Beyond that, I don't know what else you could do. Excellent work!

nice work , 1 thing i noticed is that alot or customizers forget to paint is that small part on the neck/shoulder things that stick upward blue , and is it possible to paint inside the windows without taking it apart???

Yes but not everything, and you have to be careful not to hit the windows at the back

I was looking at a CGI pic and it may be underfinished, maybe not but the blue pieces you've painted under the chest doesn't have flames on it.

    This may help you out.

It depends on the model. I've printed out several, take for instance the one from your signature has flames. So I'm trying to get it as close as I can as different images seem to have minor differences.
