We just watched TF'07 with my kids a little while ago. I will probably end up getting a Jazz, Ratchet, and Ironhide for them. And maybe a Ratchet for myself.  

 

So only 4 bots in the bb movie and yet the toy asst seems better and greater than tlk which could have had all kinds of new cool bots, even just some cool non theatrical stuff to go along with it like in the olden days. I know it' not really the bb movie series but still...

 

Man, this guy looks real good, may have to consider! He definitely needed a leader class treatment!

 

Is this line going to be sold in US retail like tge new movie MP line currently at TRU? Or is this line gonna be another takara price gouge?

 

To be fair, someone found the codename of "Radar", so these could be just codenames or actually robots.

 

The boxes have Takara and Hasbro on them like the MPM’s but as it falls under the Generations banner, there’s no reason not to think it’ll be a mass release line.

 

That's an awful lot of original molds to only sell at one or two retailers. Plus, they have repeatedly stated that Generations is outselling the kid's mainline. It makes sense to expand Generations with general movie toys every year. It keeps the G1 Generations line small and focused, while feeding the hunger of movie fans. Kids still get the gimmick toys.

FINALLY, movie Jazz has come back and will likely be an all new mold

 

The Ratchet and Crowbar we've seen didn't impress me, so I hope they're the exceptions and Jazz will be good. Speaking of Ratchet, I'll probably hold off and see what the DotM version looks like. And for that matter, I'll also be waiting on the RotF version of Starscream. I prefer the tattooed look.
Can't wait to see Leader Grimlock. Hopefully they get the proportions right this time around.

Goddamn Hasbro. Haven't been impressed with their figures recently. And just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in.

 

Even as someone who has trouble stomaching the movies, I am super excited for this line. The robot designs have always been great, and it looks like we’ll be going back to more complicated transformations.

Is Crowbar the black SUV Daimchoc posted or a deluxe version of the black FBI car? I kinda liked that version better.

 

That makes me think, I thought there was a leak that said there will be 4 lines in 2018, Studio Series, Power Of The Primes, Cyberverse, and the Bumblebee movie toy line? maybe I'm wrong ?

 

Blackout will be mine! It's nice that they're giving us the last Dread to complete the trio too.

If only they'd do the Wreckers the same justice and release Leadfoot, Topspin, and Roadbuster all in their stealth/weaponized alt modes.

 

This might, and I emphasize "might", get me back into HasTak releases. Aside from official MP releases, the only official product I've bought in the last 3 years has been Trypticon. It's really going to depend on how chincy and hollow they are. If they go back to the quality of the RotF line and early Generations line, than I'm in.

 

Whats the release date for this line again? February?

 

He's the SUV, since all the Dreads turned into the same SUV in the movie. I have no idea why the Cyberverse Crowbar turned into an FBI car.

Though, I would like to see at least a custom deluxe Crowbar that turns into the car.

 

Since he looks to be retool of Berserker, what do you think?
