Lockdown was pretty much expected to be a Deluxe if they're going for scale.

Stryker, Bluelight, Mercenary and Sentry seems to be from the Bumblebee Movie. We were told there will only be 4 robots and it seems as thought this is it.

The question is whether or not Lockdown is a new mold, or the new TT remold that the visorface, hook weapon, and gun/sword.
    Any evidence behind your assumption?

It's like Hasbro chucked a tantrum over TF4 and TF5 having such shit boring designs and said "screw it, we'll just remake the old movie toys again". Understandable - while a new Jazz would be sweeeeeet, no one is begging for leader-class Daytrader.

It’s unlikely as Takara will be releasing these as well as the Movie The Best figures. I can’t see them releasing the exact same thing in two lines. Plus I imagine they’ve chosen to include Lockdown as an opportunity to do him more accurate proportions.

I know, I don’t know why people are expecting a voyager, when have we ever had a voyager car? (And before anyone says, human alliance doesn’t count, that was a separate line with its own scale). They just need to cleverly engineer the figure to give it height in robot mode like the TFA figure.

Much better from what we’ve seen, despite being blurry or cropped pics. The fact Hasbro are using the ILM files for Movie figures now makes a huge difference.

This 100%. It was in the leaks too so I don't see how this is anything new or to be baffled about.

You say that but Takara isn’t above it. We now have two nearly indentical ROTF leader MTB Primes. TLK Bumblebee is being re-released with barely any changes but with his hammer. They are re-releasing Hound in tan with shield. Leader Megatron and Caliber Prime are being repainted in new colors, but are still the same mold. All of these releases are within a year of each other too. Bumblebee especially being the biggest kick in the ass because the only thing new is a hammer. Don’t put it past Takara at this point.

But Hasbro was the one that designed those shitty toys. This smells more like "well, it's gonna be more time between the next movie. We might as well put out a new line of movie figures and since we seemed to milk as much as we can from the last two movies we should start over."

Yeah, but they didn't really milk 'The Last Knight', did they? That was the most half-assed toy line they've produced for any of the movies. A bunch of cool designs didn't get done, while some characters who'd been done before, got done again - didn't really need a Bezerker figure, when we could have had Mohawk or Onslaught instead. There were some good figures hiding in the lineup for sure, but it was inconsistent as all hell - and don't even get me started on the woeful release schedule.

Wasn't 'Stryker' the codename for the toy that eventually became 'Wreckage' from Movie 1? You know, the APC that actually looked like Megatron?

This is all true, though each of those cones with accessories or a different/improved deco and won’t be out till some months after the original figures.

Also MB is meant to be new versions of ‘the best’ existing movie moulds, while Studio Series is apparently the movie Generations line with new takes on old characters.

The dates on the original leaks suggest the figures for this line were being designed around the same time as TLK figures (and due to be released this yeR for the 10th anniversary), hence Berserker being very much a deliberate pre-tool of Crowbar (and going some way why he got a figure while most of the other TLK Decepticons didn’t).

So it’s possible they’ll just release a less well painted version of the MB figure, but the two lines are going to be more or less simultaneous, so I’m still expecting a new or extensively retooled figure, in the same way that Stinger appears to be new and not a retool of AOE Bumblebee. I guess we just need to wait and see.

It was stated by Lorenzo that there will only be 4 robots in the Bumblebee movie.

However, I can't remember where exactly we heard that Bumblebee Movie toys will be absorbed into the Studio Series. Nevertheless, on the massive leak we saw that Stryker has a caption 'TF6 Movie' which we assume that it means Bumblebee Movie rather than the TLK sequel. There are 2 Strykers which could mean that Stryker 1 is the Volkswagen Beetle while Stryker 2 is the old Camaro which will effectively mean that we'll get a Deluxe Studio Series Bumblebee from the 1st movie (2 birds with 1 stone).

I forgot about that but there is an unlisted UPC. But since the new reveals are all huddled together with just code names, I believe all 4 of them are from the Bumblebee movie.

Yeah that’s the name of The vehicle Wreckage was. The Takara listing has Bumblebee listed instead of Stryker and the original leaks had Stryker as TF6 so it seems that’ll be Bumblebee from the Bumblebee Movie.

It’s a bit clearer now that Berserker was a pre-tool of Crowbar, which probably explain an why they went with him. They’d be foolish not to release any of the other TLK Characters in this line though.

I think we just assumed that’d be the case, and why they’ve introduced the line due to the lack of characters to make figures of from the Bumblebee movie.
