I have the sort of mixed feeling for this as i feel that they might have use the wrong picture for the G1 Optimus Prime which is meant to be use for the 2006 version of Classics Deluxe one.
TRU isn't using these images. These were probably from Hasbro to give TRU an idea of what they would be dealing with. The way it works is that Hasbro shops exclusives around, if retailers don't want them, they don't go into production. Its cheaper to just use placeholders than to make a piece just for photography of something that may never exist in retail in the long run.
this thread is SOOOOO frustrating.. i don't understand why people don't understand that these are placeholder images.. this is getting ridiculous that 15 pages in.. someone still believes that they're releasing hybrid convoy and igears sunstorm.
Sunstorm is awesome news to me. I made a mistake of not picking up Takara's version and now it costs a bomb in the aftermarket. I shall not miss this EVAR.
Sunstorm yes. Prowl a maybe. Prime 2-pack pass and don't have to worry about searching for it. So it will be like last year and just the seeker for me.
Depending on how the TRU version looks, I might pick it up too. I'll have two official ones, and an iGear one

This all sounds kind of sketchy. Not only is Hybrid Convoy kind of small, he's primarily die-cast. Weird fit to pair with a deluxe Prime. In addition to that, they use a Sunstorm pic from a customizer?
So not only do people believe that Hybrid Prime is legit, they also think that there's going to be a deluxe evasion mode Optimus. Not happening guys.
What's the price on Prowl? I hope it's not in the $70-80 range, but I somehow doubt it'd be lower (just cause Hasbro usually uses the $80+ range). It'd suck to see Hasbro make a sub-quality version of a Takara toy, for the same exact price. Wasn't Hasbro supposedly releasing an MP Lambor, too?
