Whilst scanning through the transformers at work today, I scanned the AOE leaders and found the 2 Megatrons to be crossed with the movie leaders and a listing for an Ultra Magnus. Dont remember seeing this front page or in the boards nor any pics. I apologize if I am late to the game.

 

It's not the Platinum one is it?

But I'd love a leader Magnus, especially if he was a white semi truck with a trailer and etcetera.

 

I'd be hard pressed to believe we'll be getting a leader Ultra Magnus, especially with the Masterpiece one coming out early next year. Magnus isn't exactly super well known amongst those outside of the Transformers fandom, so releasing two big figures of him close together wouldn't be the best idea, financially speaking

But hey, maybe I'm wrong. I'd love a leader Magnus, especially if it was based off of his MTMTE appearance. Would be cheaper than the MP, that's for sure

Here's hoping for a good G1-style Magnus. Either Albino Optimus with exosuit or an improved version of the Titanium design for an integrated trailer. And hopefully Hasbro will get the IDW fetish out of their system before any hypothetical Ultra Magnus emerges.

I have the Classics "Albino Prime" UM and City Commander, and am happy with it but I'd love an official version of the traditional G1 Magnus that won't cost me $200.

 

A Leader UM, hopefully it's true especially if it's a Classic. I'm all in favor of the white Magnus with suit.

Let's see that scan of AOE Leader, maybe someone has some clues.

 

Almost crushed my mouse into powder. Then I realised this may be nothing. Still, if a leader Mags based on his MTMTE body happened, I'd fly into space on an adventure the likes of which are found only in mythical legend. Otherwise, I still really want the Mp for all it's MP-ness on top of being the Duly Appointed Enforcer of the Tyrest Accord.

 

If they do a leader Magnus, I would LOVE if they him like IDW with Minimus Ambus...

 

Oh God, I would kill for a Minimus inside. Or at the very least, a removable helmet with his head underneath.

 

I hope this is true and gets announced soon. 2015 we're getting Leader Thundercracker, Megatron and maybe a Magnus?

I dont remember any other new listings in the deluxe or voyager assortments beyond what we have already seen pics of

 

Right now, only Japan is slated for the MP release and typically don't show up in Hasbro's markets until a year or so later. Not to mention that most US domestic MP releases have been TRU exclusives. So the only conflict would be with more serious TF collectors, and really wouldn't be an impact on Hasbro mass retail plans.

True. The question is will Ultra Magnus be a new mold. There's a possibility Hasbro uses the Motormaster/Optimus mold and give it an armor upgrade

 

I'd be ok with that, as long as it's not just a White Optimus Prime with nothing else.

That sounds cool. I've always liked the fact that Ultra Magnus looks like Optimus Prime under his armor.

 

To everybody the OP said he found a listing for Ultra Magnus under the AOE brand,so my opinion is he is either an Evasion Mode Optimus Repaint or a Galvatron repaint with maybe a resculpted head.But the OP also said it was Leader Size so I could be wrong about those 2.

But even if I am wrong I really hope this news turns out to be true,I really want a new Ultra Magnus and would surely get one if he comes with his trailer armor.Thanks for posting this OP.
