    seriously im tired of seeing them butcher my childhood memories and Liam Neeson is so wrong for Hannibal smith. and Cooper not right for faceman either. I am not getting good vibes on this, can't help but wonder if it will get screwed up as much as The Day The Earth Stood Still

    I'm still hoping this film doesn't get made. Every couple of years, news surfaces that some blatantly unsuitable actors are "in negotiations" for some of the roles (and I'm sure this means someone has said "Would you be interested in being in the A-Team movie?" and the star saying "No"), we all get outraged, then the film drops off the radar again. I hope this is just a continuation of that trend. I can't see it being possible to make an A-Team movie without losing most of the stuff that made it a hit in the first place. Like the cast.

    Speaking of dropping off (or below) radar, you know what would be a good show to see updated? Airwolf. I would love to see a modern version of the Lady, maybe based on a Bell 430, with modern special effects. You don't even have to add the grit and darkness that is so popular now, it's already there. Loner war veteran, the CIA trying to cover up a mistake, women tortured to death for sexual kicks, it's all there. So why fuck around with the A-Team?

    Can't wait. I have no problems with Hollywood raping my childhood. It happened to my parents. It happened to my grandparents. It is happening to me. It'll happen to my kids. Nothing you can do about it, so no point bitching about it. So bring it Hollywood: The A-Team, Magnum P.I., Airwolf, Quantam Leap, Benson, China Beach, The Golden Girls, Wings, Get a Life...

    firstly Hannibal Smith needs to be played by a mature american actor not an irishman secondly ill not touch this film with a ten foot pole unless I see signs they actually do a decent job of it

    Hannibal was just a hair shy short of crazy. I don't see the actor as anything like Hannibal in looks or personality in any of the role's he's played. I just can't see him taunting Lt. Dekker or showing up in a sea monster outfit. A-team can be more serious, but if it completely loses the humor of the old series it won't be worth watching. Just keep the personalities of the original characters and have them actually hit their enemy when they shoot at them. Since it's a film you just have them fight a large cult or private corrupt army so they have more people to shoot.
