I dig the Beast Wars Galvatron.
IMO only Blackarachnia from Chromia works for me, probably because the base mold is mostly slender like Blackarachnia's CG model.

anyway, that aside, I would have liked to see the actual BW Galavatron used for Beast Hunters, either as a slightly recoloured "dark purple" repaint (as other Galvatrons are done in the USA) or as a new character/paint job.
btw, the pics are a little small. are there bigger versions available, please?
here's a slightly edited collection of them.
Hm..BM Rattrap could work. The rest is...bit...odd. xD Still, thanks for the shares!
I love that Dinobot a lot better then the 2006 Botcon version albeit the old version looked good at the time. I would like to see an updated version of that 2006 box set.
I think these are Beast Wars Uprising designs, not pre-Beast Wars designs. They are the characters in an alternate reality where they never went to Earth and got vehicle forms on Cybertron.
Honestly those were pretty cool markets, but the third party world has made it very clear that the time for $80 redecoes of deluxe molds has passed. It is quite possible the I will never again buy another official Hasbro exclusive unless it is on sale for a reasonable price. It's not just the fact that third parties produce entirely new molds for the same price, it's also the fact that mini of the most desirable official exclusives have been one-upped in the main line in a short peeiod of time. For instance, I purchased the subscription service so I could get Chrome Dome and Rewind, and now better versions of both are available on the open market for a fraction of the price. Another good example is the botcon exclusive Deluxe Seekers, all of which saw mass-market releases in arguably Superior forms. It's just not worth it anymore.
To play Unicron's advocate Dawn of the Predacus has very questionable continuity and both of those are sources published years after the fact.
As I said before though the show doesn't really point towards protoforms being blanks but I wouldn't use any post BW source as proof one way or the other.
I think the boxset was fine as it was but I definitely agree this makes a way better Dinobot. The only thing the Hoist mold ever had going for it was the head wheras this one works on the level of the whole body and weapon.
Dinobot and BM Rattrap are certainly very creatives uses of the molds, and they work. It's a shame we didn't get Inferno, Quickstrike, or Silverbolt to finish off the BW boxset.
At least Cheetimus did a lovely repaint!
Cheets' Tweaks: DYNOBOT - Pre-Beast Mode Dinobot
This looks really cool. I would love to see better pics for all of them
The repaint of Prime Rumble isn't all that interesting. It's too different from BM Rattrap to work.
I wish they had repainted RID2015 legion class FixIt into BM Rattrap. That would've been much better.
I'd give a B+ for effort if I could see the 2 alt modes for "dinobot". Otherwise - fail. Not because I'm a hater, but because the price points are so insulting. These are recolors, and minor re-tools. As mentioned earlier, these are priced at or above most MP - and that's rediculous. I also agree with the person who mentioned a spam/troll/bitter-ex scenario. Not saying it is, but I wouldn't put it past them. At the end of the day, none of these are any different than a normal retail re-tool/re-color wave filler type tf that we've seen before, it's just these would have been exclusives. Not that that's a bad thing, but still.
A "blank" protoform is one who did not have a spark at all, like the one used to return Optimus Primal to life as as Transmetal. Obviously Blackarachnia was not a "blank".
Now whether she was active before going on the adventure, never stated either way in the show, but I always thought it was a bit odd to put newborn babies on a science vessel. That was supposed to be the CREW of the ship, brought out in protoform stasis when they were needed after they landed on a new planet, this wasn't a colony ship, it was an exploration vessel with a crew. The explosion and transwarp stuff partly erased their datatracks (read: memory), which is why they all seemed to be more adults, but with no memory.
I also have heard or seen at least TF Rumble as Rattrap before.
They look like shit and I'm glad they aren't being made
I'd get that Dinobot for sure.
that dinobot and galvatron looks pretty litt
As a point of fact, we know that Hasbro mandated this year's exclusive themes tie more closely with what they were doing at retail, i.e. Combiner Wars.
If Predacus happened at the expense of these (which we don't know for certain) it's hardly because Fun Pub "dropped the ball".
