But that Scorponok one is aces. I love that poster.

 

I really like the second one, except it should have been a red eye.

 

Ah memories, although it was Ironhide that came out of the pool instead of Optimus

 

It only took a decade for these to be released.

Totally worth it.  

 

Actually they were there since 2008, just noone noticed them.

 

It's almost nostalgic to see the wacked out, approximated, digitally cut together posters from TF07. I can't quite describe it, but back then most of the artwork for posters and such had this odd quality and had weird poses. Like nowadays posters and renders have poses that look natural and professional, but I feel like we saw a lot of pics with messed up editing like that first Optimus one up there.

 

I can see why none of these worked in the end.
I wonder if Ironhides protoform was in place of Optimus originally.

The Prime one would look pretty cool if his arm didn't look so f#%ked up.

Scorponok's poster makes him look ridiculously huge

 

My arm can go like that lol, and yes I do love the Scorponok poster as well.

Love that G1 boxart arm on Optimus. Lol

 

These are really cool to see.  

 

I've got to agree. Aside from Optimus's odd posture (which was a thing back in those days), it looks too menacing, like he's the villain of the piece. The one with the eye lurking overhead makes for great symbolism, but it's totally inaccurate to the content of the movie. The Scorponok one is freaking awesome, though.

I love how in the second one there is a random giant Scorponok claw in the background.  

 

I still think that posters should have been used better in promoting these films.
