Wonder how long before they get fired and new director/writer are brought on board.

That would be disappointing. I really hope this production goes smoothly, I just want one Star Wars movie to go well

Let it be that Boba Fett movie that keeps rumoring and being cancelled on and off.

Condense the New Republic/Yuuzhan Vong story into a single movie.

If I’m judging this solely off of resume, these are some poor choices for a creative team. From what I’ve found, Dillard’s directorial efforts have not been well-reviewed, so I wouldn’t exactly call him an Indie darling. He seems to be getting this job moreso because of his Bad Robot connections. Matt Owens makes a little more sense, but Luke Cage really nosedived in quality for me when they killed off Cottonmouth. Also, it’s hard to get excited anyway when they’ve announced and subsequently canceled so many other projects.

You're not kidding. It wasn't great to begin with, with a lot of corny dialogue and shallow handling of the characters, but it really plowed into the mountain the instant Cottonmouth was gone.
