Those and the main theme by Lion. The guitar solos in that one are spicy.
The only song from the 1986 movie soundtrack I still really like nowadays is 'Dare to be Stupid' by Weird Al.
Well, that’s one more than I like.
Transforming into creatures is cooler than transforming into technology.
Beast Wars is much less scientifically feasible than G1.
Even though I'm not a fan of combining dinobots, I kinda unironically like how the beast within handled the concept. if you're gonna do combining dinobots, it should be an unholy/unnatural abomination that shouldn't exist imo.
An even bigger atrocity than the Beast is that awful Comic Sans font. Such an eyesore next to the otherwise nice art.
Probably been listed already, but I like to display my toys in vehicle mode as well as robot mode.
Decepticons should have a large hundreds of kilometers long battle fortress like most sci-fi universes. The closest I think was Deathsaurus' fortress in Victory but I'd like to see more of a Decepticon version of the Death Star or Supremacy ( Star Wars) , or High Charity ( Halo), the Citadel ( mass effect) or the mother ship ( Independence Day)
I mean Prime's Decepticons had a flying battle fortress but still, your point stands. In addition, I'd always wanted to see TFs go pure SW where you had the transport ship bots be truly massive and have massive space battles. That huge battle in Attack of the Clones was the way I always envisioned a fullscale total war would be in TFs, where instead of transports dropping off massive AT-ATs, you'd have Tidal Wave dropping off Combiners. They got it right changing rare Titans to being numerous Super Star Destroyer sized transport citybots but we never get to see something like the beginning of Revenge of the Sith, with them battling it out anong the stars.
In short, in TFs media I've felt Hasbro never takes full advantage of a TFs natural sci-fi roots and potential. Instead of coming up with ways that combiners are rare and therefore special, why not reverse it where there's literally hundreds, if not thousands, of combiners but the named ones we all know and love are the special ones above and beyond a normal combiner (or the last ones standing if you're talking end war). But combiners should never be rare imh-but unpopular--o.
That’s because mashed potatoes can be your friend
I kinda like how Animated Ironhide is colored reddish orange rather than just a typical red.
animated characters chins are too long, like the animated series not all tf animation
SS86 Blurr should fit right in.
There is nothing wrong with the G2 color schemes, that's just how toys looked back in the day. It would have been weirder if Hasbro had used more drab colors that 90s kids would have just walked right past.
They had to be rad, kool and gnarly ?
And extreme. It is very hard to overstate how intensely "extreme" was used as a buzzword in the early-to-mid 90s. Extreme Dinosaurs, Extreme Ghost Busters, G.I.Joe Extreme, and sundry other extreme products lost in the neon mists of time.
My 18-yo kid has a mullet. That’s how hair looked “back in the day”, but it doesn't look good now. Nor do G2 colors.
I think the only G2 recolours that I think looked good would be Devastator and maybe Bruticus/Starscream and the Dinobots. The rest just look like they would be those poorly made KOs, especially some of the unreleased stuff like Menasor.
The coloring is fine, it's just that Menasor in general is a hot mess.
