Now that I thought about it, I’ll like to see a story about an old and grizzled Optimus who isn’t a complete dumbass like how he was in Aoe, I was thinking something like this version of Batman. A more brutal version of Optimus. If not Optimus prime, I was thinking ultra magnus can fit the role a bit better than Optimus.

I’ll also like to see a spin off of an old megatron who doesn’t really care about anything who is Exactly like the prime wars megatron sent on a mission to kill any remaining decepticons (overlord, sixshot, the DJD, bludgeon, straxus, jhiaxus, etc)

 

I really wish there was some way to take Prime Wars Megatron and put him in a better show.

 

I wish (and hope) Prime Wars isn't Peter Cullen's last go as Optimus in a Transformers cartoon.

 

Dear god please no. He deserves so much better than that.

 

Almost as many as the ones who get offended when you say you don't like IDW. Although that's kind of died down, perhaps because it isn't the current cool thing anymore.

Or maybe it's because I blocked the most ... ardent defenders years ago ...

 

I kind of hope it is. Nobody seems willing to give him direction beyond "epic stoic speechifying leader guy" anymore. I'd rather not have his awesome, personable, human performance in G1 further overshadowed.

Although given what we're stuck with in WFC, it seems to be more of an issue with how the directors insist on Optimus being portrayed, rather than their take on Optimus as done by Peter specifically.

 

Sometimes i still get into arguments about IDW 1.0

 

With the crazy amount of "G1" influences going on in this franchise nowadays, I would actually love for some crazier, odd-ball designs making a comeback and featured more; Like making this Bonaparte Tulcas/Headcannon a major role in some upcoming media as well as a shiny, brand new toy on par with the current WFC trilogy toyline.

 

Unless there's a reason for an actual cabin, I'm fine with a slight suggestion of it, like Classics Optimus with the seats visible in his windows. That said, I'm all for a Human Alliance-type line with human companions/pilots/drivers for each Transformer.

They failed to portray Starscream as a strong, arrogant, prideful, cocky hot-shot with his eyes on the throne. He just comes across as a sniveling, useless coward and a Decepticon so weak and incapable that he's a foil for the human characters that gets killed by Sam Witwicky with a grappling hook and grenades...

No way! Without hobby drama, what do you do for entertainment?

It still Blows my mind we haven't gotten a decent TF, GIJoe crossover yet. We've had Joe vehicles painted as TF's a few, TF's that are nods to Joe but nothing quite right so far.

Just make a half decent motorcycle bot and throw a regular Joe body on the drivers seat and you're good to go. Call it a Dreadnought themed pack and people will go juts for that shit. Or with Snake Eyes coming up have his wolf be a Maximal and I'd buy it.

I like Astrotrain big in robot mode. While his size in Cyberverse was a bit too large for me, I think him being the same size as Skyfire and Broadside works, seeing as they all share similar roles in their respective factions.

 

I like big Astrotrain as well.

 

I honestly don’t really like G1 or animated ratchet’s voices.

 

G1 Ratchet's voice I feel fits perfectly, since there is a bit of a fun aspect to him that I like, especially during idle backtalk scenes. There is a cheerfulness to him that makes him sound quite easygoing (and honestly, it's the voice I imagine in the Marvel comics).

TFA Ratchet's voice... yeah, like many TFA voices, sounds more like a voice impression you would throw out at a cocktail party.

Honestly, the only Ratchet voices that do it for me are the G1, High Moon and Cyberverse ones. The Bayformers one has a great voice, but I always felt it fit Nightbeat better. Jeffrey Combs irritated me in TFP, but even in RiD15 where he wasn't annoying to me, he suffered the same thing as Robert Foxworth, where I felt he would be a better fit for Nightbeat.

 

Headmasters count as partsforming, but weapons don't.
