Ah, I see. Yes, you may well be right. There’s definitely a new ‘type’ of plastic that wasn’t used in the WFC toys. It struck me today when I saw pictures of Metalhawk and realised that I wasn’t going to buy him after all, as I could see he was made of that type of plastic…

 

Here's a hot take, Describing things on a product you have in hand with Ms Paint instead of just simply posting pictures because of some weird moral ambiguity you have.

I Love transparent plastic. Now, don't get me wrong; it shouldn't be used on delicate parts that will have to endure any amount of strain. But there seems to be this widespread phenomenon that has arisen in recent years among the fandom of hating it all together even when it isn't presenting a risk of breakage. Like merely the sight of clear windows is triggering traumatic memories of bots breaking on the first transformation. Now there's a vocal minority calling for clear windows to be phased out entirely &/or striving to sticker over every accursed window in they're collection at great cost.

I truly hope we don't revert to the cheap looking painted window aesthetic norm of latter g1.

 

I agree. Clear plastic has its place in Transformer toys.

 

Thirded! Where would my insecticons be without clear plastic? Looking like cheap poo, that’s where! Clear plastic windows? So long as they’re not located at vital junctures requiring force, absolutely! So much better looking than painted on windows. Etc.

 

If you mean the gray plastic on Metalhawk that type of plastic has been used on WfC figures, you may have just not gotten them. Apeface was pretty much made out of entirely that plastic.

No, not the 'nylon' that apeface has. That's great. I mean the type of shiny plastic that Jhiaxus (particularly the white) is made from. I find that unpleasant to touch.

New to me at least! I remember Scraphook, I believe, leaking through this means. I am not impressed by it personally, but I will not waste words complaining about it. I'll simply hope that someone else leaks it soon!

Ok that is dumb. With Scraphook being "leaked" through a drawings made sense a bit as it was a new character but what is the point of doing it with an existing character? We know what Armada Prime is supposed to look like so unless there is a huge departure in his design, like his main bot body now forms the legs of the super mode, there is no benefit to showing a drawing lmao

 

It seems to be a very accurate version... so just petty "I have it so you can't" seems to be the reason.

You and I don't know what it looks like but are waiting for it. Or to see it.

This guy has seen it. He's now waiting for it to come out rather then see it. He knows exactly what he's missing rather then like us just imagining it.

Sure this guy has seen it before us. Just means he's waiting longer in a way. "Out of sight out of mind" applies here. Making the wait for someone who hasn't seen it better then someone who has
