Yes. And going by the only photos we’ve seen so far, I’m already thinking this guy will still look better in my display… especially in alt mode. That new one… yeeesh.

Earthrise van mode is great. Idk… good, solid robot mode that’s just as chunky as I’d want it to be, fun transformation, and an amazing van mode. Imo the feet aren’t that big a deal so I’m not conplaining though I only have Guard so if it was in a different colour I could see it bugging me more. In black it just blends in well.

Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” is no less average, mediocre and underwhelming today, than it was in 1985.

Oh shit, wrong social media platform… my bad.

Yep. It's great for episodic TV show making, because it's a useful McGuffin. Ultimately, though, it bends the story universe around it and everything is about the Matrix, because it's never really written to have limits (in case the next writer wants to use it for something).

I’d personally write it like this: it grants the recipient great physical power as a start-off (hence why Optimus Prime could handle Megatron), and is pretty much Unicron’s kryptonite. It can also do said stuff in fiction that it can do, but it needs to have accumulated enough knowledge over a period of time. It’ll also use up all of its accumulated knowledge once it’s special powers have been used, leaving it as just the power-up + Unicron keep-awayer. Provides some stakes when it comes to using it in-story as opposed to it breaking it entirely, and in-universe justification could be that Primus designed it like that to make Primes not solely rely on the Matrix in their leadership reign. Just throwing out a dumb idea I thought of in like a minute.

The R.E.D Line isn't as bad as everyone says it is. Either y'all are lying or I'm winning the QC jackpot every single time

The QC could be impeccable and I wouldn’t want a RED figure if you gave it to me. It’s exactly as bad as I think it is, even if it’s executed perfectly to specs.

The Kingdom Primal figure is more accurate to the show design than the non-transforming RED Primal. That automatically makes it a failure.

Unpopular opinion, the bayvese through tf prime period was the golden age of tf figures

I would say that too, but some of the toys released in the first movie are pretty good

The thing about that is regardless of how you felt about the TFP PRID/Beast Hunters lines, Generations/RTS was going on at the same time. I'd say the golden age begins with TFA and ends just before the Generstions Fall of Cybertron subline.
