I'm considering the silver leg version because it's less I'd have to paint silver. I'd be painting the waist stripe and faceplate silver, and possibly the truck stripe as well. IMO Optimus shouldn't have any grey on him either unless he's dead.
After reading a number of your toy-related posts over the past few months, I’m thinking I should get a list of the figures in your collection and buy any of them that aren’t in mine.
Any particular focus? I’ve got hundreds of toys, so it would be a long list. And it’d take a while to compile.
SS86 Wheelie is MUCH BETTER than the Titans Return Wheelie
G1 > both
Aaron archer> the current one.
2006-2014 was Peak TF quaility
I like later John Warden stuff like WFC, but there is an undeniable fun of the toys from the Angry Archer Era.
I thought he left for PR
He announced his departure midway through Earthrise, but because of the way the Toy industry works, he effectively ran the whole WFC Trilogy (he even recently tweeted about his time designing Commander Class Rodimus).
Yes, he is at Power Rangers, Ghost Busters, and a week ago he just got assigned to G.I. Joe.
Ooh! I didn't hear about him on Joe. All I know is that the fans are fully pissed about Classified and scalpers, and have conjured weird, conflicting conspiracy theories to make themselves persecuted victims of Hasbro's hate and stupidity. I hope Warden can help fix things.
That's what I'm hoping too. He's the man for the job.
But yeah, it literally happened two days ago
John Warden To Head G.I. Joe Brand At Hasbro - HissTank.com
Haha, just kidding. Just take it as a compliment. I find myself agreeing with your comments about toys, more often than not.
White legs Prime looks better than silver legs Prime.
You didn't though.
I've long had the sense that Hasbro didn't know what to do with Joe. I suspect because it is such an American brand and they're dealing with a global market and because military action figures might not go over great even in some American markets. But there is a huge overlap in the fans of Transformers, Star Wars, and GI Joe ARAH. Hell I'd have been all in on Classified had I not decided to limit my collecting strictly to TFs. Anyway, I think that they were caught completely by surprise with the success of Classified and giving this to Warden may signify a newfound appreciation and understanding of the brand in the company.
Hey quick question, who is the current head designer for transformers btw?
I think Mark?
