...aren’t those two figures from Studio Series?
To be fair, that bumblebee is more of a G1 nod than a full blown remake like that Prime. The body is 100% Bay
I agree with this. I used to have the "Legends" version and loved the overall look. But when it came to the articulation it was not worth the money I spent on it.
I'm honestly kind of disappointed with the QC on the Micromaster ten-pack.
They're not bad, but some have serious issues.
Siege Shockwaves an amazing figure but tacking on that stupid armor and calling it a leader really pisses me off.
i dont remember g1 bumblebee having a bug-face, a hood-chest or door wings, but that's just me.
It's basically the RUINTED FOREVER version of a Bayfan, since there's even a smattering of not a Camaro in there, it must obviously be GEEWUN.
No matter how bad a figure looks like in photos, I still think it's the best to only fully judge a toy by itself when you can actually play with it in-person. I actually play with some of the 1-Step changers that a lot of TF fans give flak to, but playing with those in-person I don't think they're bad toys for what they're trying to do.
MP-44 looks like total ass and anyone who spent money on that monstrosity is a sucker.
I am so supremely happy with where TT is heading with the MP line and I only hope they continue this trend by making each and every figure as accurate to the original cartoon as possible.
Are any of them seeing a therapist? Or is that what the therapist told you while dealing with how they function together?
Well... I tried sending them to the closest bot I could find to a therapist, Sideswipe. All Sideswipe told them to do was make more noise.
I have almost no interest in the Masterpiece line. I have the G2, 2007 Movie, and Bumblebee Movie Bumblebee figures, but unless I get MP-45 or the original Masterpiece Bumblebee, I think I'll be fine. They look really good, and the engineering is certainly impressive from what I can see, i just can't justify blowing more than $100 on a single figure shorter than Titan Class. Just not in my budget. I've only got the Bumblebees because favorite character and also good offers. Siege and Studio Series scratch the itch just fine for me.
I’ve watched reviews, looked at all the pictures people have been posting, but...I’m just not impressed with MP-44. It looks good, but just looks a bit “off” to me, and I’m still not sure what it is. Plus, seeing all the paint chips and knee problems, it just looks disappointing.
The arms are super narrow and the torso is super wide
The gigantic backpack with electronic sounds is a turn off. Looks really bad and it's a completely useless feature for me. Mad dumb.
Looks better than MP-10 but it still looks off to me too.
You're not alone on this. I have almost 0 interest with masterpiece line as well. Compounded with the plethora of 3rd party Masterpiece-esque releases however, that 0 interest might change my opinion to a total 'disdain' on the line as a whole....
My 2 cents: A masterpiece line should be like the BW masterpiece line is right now. 1 character release, but done well. Hell might've freeze sooner than TT even bothered to leave iterations of Optimus alone at this point.
Seeing how good the cyberverse designs are really makes me wish they got the siege/studio series treatment.
Spark armor would look much better if they removed the forced automorph and made them attach piece by piece like on the show.
I want a mainline Shadow Striker toy. I really like her design for some reason. I think she could be a great character outside Cyberverse.
Was it really necessary to insult a chunk of the fandom just because you don't like a figure that many do?
No, no it wasn't.
