I want to buy Titans Rumble and future Bumblebee Frenzy,in robot mode they echo a lot G1 , but I'd use SIEGE Soundwave as their "boss" despite dimensions. Titans Soundwave is too boxy although I like helmet.

Making Siege and Studio Series share 5mm hand ports was a genius idea :)

I think the idea of incorporating 3mm pegs on the weapons for the blast effect parts in the Siege toys are a good idea, and I wish that future toylines also has the same features instead of needing to modify per-existing weapons from older toys.

The old 2007 Movie Deluxe Concept Camaro Bumblebee is still my favorite Movie Bumblebee toy.

They've been using 5mm ports for many years now. It isn't just Studio Series and Siege.

I've got one, after the advent of Spark Armor Cheetor...

Organic beast modes are DUMB AS FUCK. Never liked them in '96, don't like them in 2019. But Spark Armor Cheetor and the design for Rhinox from Transformers: Earth Wars has shown me that Beast Wars characters look goddamn fantastic when they're robot beasts. If we get BW characters in 2021 I hope that we get robot animal representations of them. Otherwise I'm just gonna pass on Transformers that year. Ain't touching organic beasts with a ten foot pole.

Agreed, and I'll add that I didn't like them with the non-Pretender organics that came out. Fangry immediately comes to mind.

I can comprehend thet they tried to change them in S2 but now I see Red Wing inheriting Thrust role ,in my universe he has S1 seeker and SIEGE wings as position on shoulders, but with his iconic turbines.

I do not like effect parts just slapped on a gun or whatever when it's just sitting there. Why is that bot just shooting the ground? Effect parts are amazing but need to be used correctly.

I wanted headmasters incorporated with combiners. I mean, you're already swapping limbs, the head could also be a separate team member and spare the need for awkwardly storing a second head in the torso bot. Except, yeah, they have to be bigger than the regular ones, and then someone would tell me the market wouldn't support having two sizes of headmasters.

Are these really that unpopular? I've never seen anyone complain about the blast effects (only the lack thereof) and I can't say I've ever seen anyone post pictures of them just sitting on a gun. They're always being used appropriately.

Have fun. I know where my place in the fandom is. A happy little corner where G1 is all there is. :thumb

    I like both.
The robotic beasts from G1, like the Predacons, Ravage, Laserbeak etc. were all some of my favorites.
Then Beast Wars added another level to the beast-forming spectrum and made it even better.
I honestly don't prefer one over the other and can enjoy both of the beast styles as I was a huge fan of G1 in my youth, and then Beast Wars brought me back into the fold.

Never said it had to be one or the other...I'm a total G1 fanboy. But I grew up with both so I love both. This is the Unpopular Opinions thread so I'm not starting any arguments. But I think Beast Wars and its premise is almost as great as G1.

Yep, totally agree! One isn't inherently better than the other, as it's all personal preference.

My only major issue with beast figures is when they're massive fucking shellformers such as Break.

"Little" hardly counts for "where G1 is all there is" anymore.

I was thinking about something similar, but with all the combiner members the same size (sort of like Devy) but interchangeable (like "scramble city), including the torso (even if it took two to make a torso) then because they're headmasters, any one of the heads could plug in and take control of combined mode, not just whoever was making the shoulders. Or there could be an additional head just for combined mode, but still interchangeable with the individual heads.

For some reason, I think most of the best Bayverse toys are ironically original molds of "characters" that aren't even in the movies like DOTM Skyhammer, TF07 Landmine, ROTF Brawn, and even the weaker toys such as TF07 Swindle also has their own interesting quirks that you just can't find on most of the on-screen character toys.
