I feel like with all these new figures in the air at this time, released and unreleased, it'd be good to talk about our unpopular toy opinions, just to maybe go on about them here rather than, say, their reveal or feedback thread.

Mine are:

CW Ultra Magnus keeps getting worse and worse each day to me. First there was Minimus Ambus, which I honestly felt neutral on. Then there was the 1/144 thing, which is the most boneheaded decision on a toy... And then it turns out you can't disconnect the cab from the trailer without modding it.
CW Prime, however, rocks. He feels so... Jolly.

The CW Armada Megatron looks better than the G1 to me...

I got Sky Byte recently and he's pretty cool and... I think looks better than the original.

So, what are your unpopular TOY opinions?

 

I love ROTF huge Devastator. The one where the vehicles don't turn into robots. Logically I shouldnt, but I do. It's just fun.

 

I like Powercore Combiners

 

My unpopular opinion is that when I don't feel like buying a toy, I never fantasize about the designer getting fired.

I like stupid alt modes, like a toaster, or a piece of sushi

 

Star Saber is my least favorite of MP 2.0 line.

 

Ok, I'll have a go at it, while this thread lasts:

CW optimus is the fugliest voyager of the Generations line.

Menasors face looks like he just ate a raw lemon.

RID is an absolute pass, it has no appeal to me, what so ever.

I like that we are getting Off-road and AB instead of wildrider and slingshot.

Devastators just a peice of junk. The components look hideous.

I'd rather have a g1 magnus instead of an idw one.

Leader megs has no appeal for me.

 

I fully agree with you on this. I work for a company that makes some spectacular medical software...and then they've also made some not so spectacular. And wouldn't you believe that some of the same people worked on both. But nobody should get fired. The market trend will prove what needs to be fixed and what doesn't.

 

MP-05 is great!

Despite owning and liking Generations Springer, I do still like FansProject Defender; he's my S3 Springer and evokes the blocky G1 aesthetic better than the IDW Wreckers Nick Roche version.

 

CW Menasor looks kinda awful to me

 

Combiner Wars Blackjack is a shitty toy im glad I got mine at 16.99 before the stupid mark up and also I like Action Masters.

Huh, I guess you don't like AoE lockdown, then? They're both designed by the same guy; John Warden. In fact, I think he designed all of AoE's toys.
