    Halo is better than both.

Better all around story. 343 Cortana arc notwithstanding.

Ninja Turtles, Street Sharks, Biker Mice. Of all anthro animal heroes, none of them got smack on the Extreme Dinosaurs. Just too extreme for those poor saps.

Avengers Assemble has better humor than Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

And the former is not that bad. A solid 7.5/10 IMO.

Not pizza, but as a kid, sometimes I'd eat a pancake that way, with a strip of bacon and drop of syrup in the middle. I'll still do that once in a big while for nostalgia's sake.

I watched Brightburn today (because my dad loves horror movies, and I’ve been trying to branch out), and the best thing of the film was the use of Bad Guy by Billie Eilish in the credits.

Most pizzas sold in Australia unless you went somewhere that specialised in American style didn't have bases big or soft enough to do that with. So I must admit thats a novel way of eating pizza :p

I like TLJ, or at least I didn't dislike it enough to wanting to post over 40+ videos ranting about TLJ again and again like some Youtubers.

I actually find more fun talking about things I do like than things I hate. Maybe it's just me being sick of online negativity, but I didn't find constantly ranting about something to be fun at all.

Agreed. The Last Jedi is a perfect example of there being extreme hyperbole on both sides.

I feel like critics were hyperbolic in their positivity over the movie, and most ignored some glaring flaws, while fans were the opposite extreme, and nitpicked things to death while ignoring the positive things about the movie Johnson was trying to tell.

My opinion? It's somewhere in between. I honestly think that the story of the core characters...Luke, Rey, and Kylo...is actually fantastic and as good as there has ever been in Star Wars. I'm being serious here. Luke's character work was great, regardless of how much fans and even Hammill himself weren't too fond of it.

The main problem with The Last Jedi, in my opinion, is that while those three core characters and the stuff about the Force is great, the universe around them has not changed since Empire Strikes Back, but fictional universes can and should change over time, just like characters can and usually should. Yet here we have the tiny Rebellion vs. the suddenly all-powerful Empire all over again, right after the latter had their superweapon base wiped out, to the point where the new Rebellion literally evacuates their previous base like they had by the time ESB rolls around, to the point where the Rebels are literally getting picked off by the First Order, because the Rebels can't get into hyperspace! Exactly like in ESB! I mean there's even a battle on a planet covered in a white, crystalline substance where the new Rebels are faced with a superior force...using the same damn vehicles as in ESB....and Luke Skywalker's actions allow them to escape, just like on Hoth in ESB!

I understand that, in some ways, history does repeat itself, but couldn't they have done something new with the status quo or dynamic between the factions or with the fictional universe?

So my problem with The Last Jedi isn't that it "ruined" Star Wars or was too "subversive" as far as fandom expectations. My issue was that it wasn't daring enough, and it stayed too much within that OT comfort zone (as did TFA), so it could never escape mediocrity and become something truly great.

Yeah, he basically dies with almost zero character development and exploration into who he was. Would have been nice.

Agree to both of these 100%. That was always really my only huge complaint with the movie. That, and destroying the Resistance at the end. It’s like they wanted it to cap off the Trilogy.

Oh yeah, Snoke. I completely forgot he existed. He should’ve at least made it to the third movie.

The director wanted to "kill it all" (or whatever that corny line was) for no real reason other than he's an idiot.

TFW you realize they off'd Snoke just so Ghost Palpatine can show up... *Facepalms*

Probably unpopular, but I just don't care about Character development. Exporation sure, but not development.
    that, too.

Snoke could've been a real game changer but because the director had to try to hard to "be original" he completely messed up what could've been a good character. Who knows maybe the current movie could try to do something with him.

I get what both of you are coming from, but I don't mind that much since I find Snoke to be uninteresting and prefer if Snoke is get rid of early as I'm interested with Kylo Ren's character more than Snoke.

Thats partially the point. Snoke was never given any sort of background or character. He was just Kylo’s boss, and then he was killed just to subvert expectations before he could actually become any sort of character.
