Okay, in the first one, Rattrap is closer to the camera than Cheetor is. In the second one, they are directly side by side. In the third one, Rattrap is behind Cheetor. Which is how you get three different comparative sizes.

In the third one he's only just behind Cheetor, so it shouldn't add heaps of difference to the size.

Look! Look what I got! I was trying to get Megatron's beast mode scale, so I checked Other Victories. And here's Dragon Megatron, standing upright, along with the 4 other Preds lined up in a row! It's at the 8:33 mark if someone has better capture software than I do.

A couple of drone variants. I'm calling them the Fast Tank Drone and the Lite Cycle Drone. The Fast Tank is an animation error that showed up in season 1 as well, specifically in Forbidden Fruit in Nightscream's flashback. I imagine they're for rapid deployment and fast movement Blitzkrieg style. Because it's fun.
    upload_2021-11-27_10-16-52.png

The Lite Cycle is a bit more problematic. They aren't an animation error, but rather a smaller version of the Cycle Drone. The drones were the same size as Thrust in Season 1 and the first part of Season 2. These guys showed up in Wolf in the Fold. This isn't a matter of forced perspective, or Thrust getting larger. They really are just small for some reason. So I am going to pretend it's a smaller, rapid deployment unit designed to follow the Maximals into the escape tunnels they're so fond of. I'll call these CY-02.5 Lite Cycle Drones.

Also, I do not think Bottanica was a Maximal. I believe she was an Autobot. There are a few reasons for this.
    1) She said she left Cybertron "many seller cycles ago" (her emphasis)
    2) Her ship is a direct model reuse of the Autobot shuttle model
    3) The controls and cockpit are scaled for an Autobot size bot
    4) We know (again from Forbidden Fruit) that there were still Autobots on Cybertron at the beginning of Megatron's invasion.
    5) The robot seen in her flashback (assuming it was her) is way larger compared to the door than say Thrust or Optimus is compared to it.
    upload_2021-11-27_11-11-43.png

There are a few issues with this.
    1) Cheetor calls her a Maximal and she doesn't disagree
    2) Like Nightscream, the scale of her beast mode does not change while reformatted
    3) Her beast form could easily move through the vents on her ship.

So IDK. I'd say perhaps it was half and half? She was part of a Maximal/Autobot mission? Or she had Autobot crew members aboard her ship? Or when she scanned her beast (plant) mode, it shrunk her by 50%? This could be a Grimlock situation. I don't know, but I found it interesting.

There's your update for today. looking for a halfway decent shot of Bottanica's plant mode, then it's on to confirm Strika and Obsidian. We're in the Endgame now (pun intended)

That bit about Botanica is very interesting. The idea they may have been hinting she was an Autobot? Sincerely fascinating, I love it!

There is also the possibility that Bottanica was an Autobot, but the being we saw was not her. Because check this out. (ignore the jumbled mess)

    upload_2021-11-27_18-47-22.png

Nottanica, if you will, is insanely large. I have trouble believing there would be any Autobot that large who would reformat that small. Is it possible this could be someone like say Skyfire? Last time we saw him was in Dark Awakening. It could also be that is Autobot Bottanica, and at some point she went through the Maximal upgrade program, and achieved her current size.

    Regardless, it is fascinating spectulation.

(And just to show my work) The flashback, lined up the door with thrust, scaled to actual Thrust size. Nottanica could be a little larger or smaller, but not by a ton. Look how big that door is compared to Thrust.

Alright, this is a rough working scale for now. I know @Wiseguy6316 will give me feedback, but I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks of it. Still working on the alt mode chart.

And in case you were wondering, here's Optimal Megatron.

And in case you were REALLY wondering, here's Grand Mal Megatron and Optimus

Looks good, I'm still a bit iffy on Cheetor but other than that it looks good. Is that pre Grand Accession Optimal Megatron? Also do you have an idea of how big each character is in feet or meters based on your chart?

No, that's Grand Ascension Megatron. I haven't converted them to numbers yet. Rattrap should be somewhere around the 6' mark though.

Ah. If you want to get pre Grand Accession Optimal Megatron you can use my chart I made for him as a guide if you want. Also holy hell Obsidian is a big lad.

I think you were a little tall by about a meter.
And yes, Obsidian is huge! So is Tankor! Here's everyone, their BW forms, the mini cycle drone, and the zombie bot from Spark of Darkness. I didn't include the entire BW cast or the meter lines. Maybe next time.

Interesting notes: Jetstorm doesn't change size when he becomes Silverbolt. That's a great little detail. BM Primal is right in line with BW Megatron's height, which is a nice parallel. Nottanica does have Jetfire's shoulders, and Skyfire was a scientist, so that could be something to consider. Previously unnamed and possible Autobots include Strika, Obsidian and possibly Bottanica.

Looks great, nice work. Lol the giant Megatron head. I'll try to get an exact measurement for each characters height based off Megatron being 13'10 at the start of BM.

Sure. But I'd hold off for the moment, as I am not 100% sure these are accurate. That's why I opened it up for discussion.

The only ones I'm not sure about are Cheetor and Botanica. The others all look fine to me. And I can just edit the sizes if you change the scale.

That's really cool that we've got a height chart for Beast Machines based on references to the show. Thanks TM2 Dinobot, it looks right to me. Looking at your chart compared to the initial image we had for a BM scale chart, I like yours a lot more.

Yeah Strika is way oversized in that and Optimal Megatron is undersized.

@Avispanator Here's TM2 Cheetor and Airrazor stills from the gifs. We can compare to their robot modes and add the beast modes from there. Using this principle, Tigatron is slight larger, for example. (the others are back on page 41)

    upload_2021-12-12_16-54-11.png

Here's an update to the beast/alt mode sales. I am not 100% on these. I am... 80% sure? If anyone else has any comments, I'd love to hear them.

For as outlandish as the BM designs were, their beast modes were pretty much in line with what was happening with BW. And also, Tankor is a wide boi, but he isn't very long. He's got the mass, but him and Jetstorm are similar dimensions in alt mode.
