there's prob been a thread similar to this already....but....how come some people on here seem to be spending an inordinate amount of money on their TF Collection? & more to the point! where is their funding coming from? coz i get the impression, that to some ppl on here, money seems to be no object! do they really have such high paid jobs? or maybe they've got lucky with the lottery? or pools? or maybe it's an inheritance? who knows? i dunno about the rest of the world, but where i'm from, there's a recession going on! & can't afford to throw money about. + if you want to spend an rediculous amount of money, then why not get yourself one of these.(if you don't have one already!)

What is it to you what people spend? You sound like a jealous twelve year-old, stop trolling and learn to post better.

I collect on a very tight budget , so i bargain hunt and cherry pick. i spend many hours scouring amazon and craig's list for bargains ( I don't ebay), for larger items i plan ahead and save up as i am doing for Encore Fortmax.

Honestly? Sometimes this issue concerns myself. Clearly though, it seems as if you have some sort of objectivity about the money that you spend.

Jokes aside though, this thread is actually really an interesting thought.

You figure, a large ammount of people are struggling, and yet... we buy toys? Screw survival. Toys.

Hell, even I do it myself. I can't help but purchase these little plastic men, that I have one to many of.

I mean, yeah my Transformers budget is that of none right now due to no new figures peaking my interest cept' Thundertron and Ultramagnus... but still.

    >_> Where -do- people aquire all these monies? Some people here have three hercules and two Green Giants...

I guess so because I've done the decent job and part-time job and side business bit and now I buy fewer toys for myself than ever...

    Unlimited Bank Account?
    Pfffffuck no.
Not that its any of your Goddamn Business, but I work for a living, Don't Smoke, Don't Drink (often), If I can help it Ill spend as little as possible on nonessential purchases such as Transformers, I plan Ahead for expensive purchases (Like Encore 23 fortress Maximus), and while I am admittedly single as of this moment, I still have to spend $182.20 every month on a Perscription Narcotic to keep my ADHD in check (thanks, in no part to my Cheapass employers who won't put me in a position where I would be able to Receive medical Insurance) along with my $200/month Rent.

    Have a Nice day.
