For this toy, I like the alt mode deco better than the bot mode.

 

But everyone knew that was BS immediately, as he'd already been confirmed for Generations and there was a Banzaitron character in last year's set.

Wow, I'm stoked about these figures. It is interesting though that they combined a non SG figure with one that is SG. Scorch makes sense (more or less) with this years set and Ravage (Glitt) make sense for the ongoing SG series (which, I for one, am not sick of). I'd love to see Hasbro do an official repaint of Ravage as Glitt though since this one appears to be SG Ravage (and NOT Glitt) and I guess the corresponding Hound repaint could be Swindle?

What's more puzzling is the white ravage yet still a Decepticon, no less.
I think it would be more exciting if there will be a redeco of Springer from the ROTF Blazemaster Deluxe mould? Anyone with that news? I mean, they released an Evac from that mould, right?

How do you come to the conclusion that there's the same amount? Last year there were 2000 razorclaw/elita-one, 1500 banzai-tron/skyquake, and 1000 (3000) sweeps. 500 is quite a count difference for these small runs. The freebie production could be any-range as you don't get one with iacon or loosesets but they're given to volunteers, dealers, and as incentives like 2005's boxset last year.

Last year's razorclaw/elita-one was the 1st time we had a 3-pack. If we a Shattered Glass souvenir this year I'm fine as long as there's still two G2 Redux themed packs to go with it.
