Yes, definitely good pick up on the logo/plugs. Just makes those plugs more mysterious... Why are they not on Huffer?(Perhaps hidden in robot mode or where accidently cropped off of the cardboard-cutout-stand-in that he is?)... Given the "combiners" tag, they do look like possible combining connectors but... they're unlike previous minicon powerlinx pegs, and they're unlike the chest connector peg... can there really be another way the figures combine? If so, why no visible mention of it on these, admittedly cutoff, packaging shots?

As far as Huffer vs. "Commander"'s size... I think estimating Huffer's size might be skewed a bit by the minicon stand-in next to him... they don't look to be scaled right to each other. I think the minicon will be slightly bigger in relation to Huffer than those 2 cutout-stand-ins show.

Smokejumper? Is that too long to fit in the bio's gaps? It's a previously used Decepticon name related to firefighting that ends in an R... and he was a "combiner", with RID Dreadwing.

    Something's kinda bugging me:

This is just complete speculation of course, but what if these are "Scout" sized toys? Does Scout + Mini-con = new Deluxe price point? In other words, could Hasbro be downsizing their toys?

Like I said, just a thought. However IIRC it was something they considered in the recent past.

Now this is news!! I'm really liking this new toy-line/gimmick.

Edit: P.S. I hope they make all the Mini-Cons are universal so that we can buy Mini-Con packs to interchange. YES, I'm telling hasbro to butt rape me on endless waves of Mini-Cons.

What we can make out on the packaging implies a "Drone" size class - which I speculate will be Scout sized army builder robots, with "Commanders" being Deluxe.

    Do want!

Also, those blue pegs look a LOT like "Scramble" combiner pegs, with the bevelled ridge to hold limbs in place. It looks like it's held on with a metal pin, so it can rotate freely? Very interesting!

the complexity of these guys looks a bit much for basics and more on par with Deluxes ~ i just think likely they are going to be a bit smaller than Deluxes have been to this point ~ with the minicon making up the bulk of what would be a "regular' deluxe.

hm. Seems like they are pulling alot of stuff together. From Armada, and Energon. Then Huffer is a target master? What if they plan of putting together ALOT of things from previous series, we'll see headmasters? Pretenders? just my far fetched idea..

Looks great (so far) and hopefully this is an indication of the next fiction. He appears to be a new character (or at least a very drastic update) and that's just what I want; if the new fiction were to be too G1-ish I'd have no interest in it.

So am I seeing the Animated series grown up?

Huffer and this one looks like this line is Life-like Fire vehicles, with Deck guns.

So did I put a bug in their ear, enough to make 4-door sedans to make Police Cars and a repaint of a taxicab?

Votes my avatar as Optimus Prime. Heavy Rescue Prime.

Oh man - a legit firetruck Prime... None of this "well, if you SQUINT, he's kind a fire-truck..."

    ... I'd go apeshit.

I hope we get some nice G1 homages of Targetmasters and Headmasters in this new series :)

A nice Skullcruncher or Crosshairs would be cool!

Those are both autobot names, though.
