holy crap i know what they are...GREMLINS!!!!they are getting ready to hatch any moment now!we must flee before they hatch
Count me among the "Kill it with fire!" crowd. Seriously, it's probably just one of the species of Bryozoans that don't make hard shells. Some of them make slimy fleshy sacks, instead. People who think that's the inside of an animal need to watch that video, again. You can see the stripes near the water line from minerals and other things building up over time, and those growths are all in the seems where the sewer sections join together. You can even see a crack in the wall near the second one that the camera looks at. The whole thing is filmed by a sewer crawling robot. Lots of cities use those things now.
Fascinating! So it's just a bunch of these lil worms that colonized into a structure, since they had no soil structure. They must get plenty of nutrients down there. For a bit there I thought they didn't get all of the blob.
I stand very corrected. This is awesome, didn't know certain worms could do that in the absence of soil.
Apparently, they get what we... don't. EWWWWWWWWW!!!! BURN IT, BURN IT, BURN IT! Kill it before it evolves into the deadliest life form known to man! A POLITICIAN! j/k.
Hmm.. Mutant High Fructose Corn Syrupy Deathlike Shitballs from the Sewers of North Carolina. I smell franchiiiiiiiise.. ..and, well, corn syrupy deathlike shitballs from a sewer, but yeah, franchise as well.... ...I may vomit...again..
Watching it again, it is kind of cute. Just minding its own business in the sewer. I for one welcome our adorable gooey sewer-dwelling overlords.
