    Hi,

I have a unknown variation off Beachcomber, at least to me. Bought 2 years ago at BOTS in The Netherlands because the difference in colour stood out. Have looked all accross the web for any clues but couldn't find any.

Have made a comparison with a normal vintage Beachcomber. The blue is mucht lighter, and the legs, headlights and wheels are creamwhite. The pictures aren't that good(iphone), you can see the difference better in real life. You can see were the rubsign has been it is even lighter. Also the metal parts too hold the wheels are different, not sure if that's a common variation.

I'd love to say Ceji. Because of the blocked copyright on the back of his head, being found in Europe I would say this is possibly a Ceji-produced 1986 Beachcomber, made in France and released on Ceji multilingual European G1 cards.

There's a Cosmos, Seaspray and "Pipes" (Puffer - blue Huffer) as well.

If it's not that, I might go with a Chinese Beachcomber, but I don't know anything much about the Chinese G1 moulding variations.

I've asked someone who knows about the Chinese minis too :thumb

    All the best

Definite Ceji. Chinese Beachcomber doesn't have Takara or Hasbro markings.
