I still have the original trade of Target: 2006, and I still have every issue of every War Within series. So the included comics are redundant to me.

To me, 3 of the 4 figs in these 2-packs aren't worth the price. Ratbat, Roadbuster, and Dirge look woefully unfinished compared to the original uses of the mold. There's lack of paint apps and details all over the place. They're just lazy repaints. At least Springer doesn't suffer from that.

 

I happened to hit the local Target tonight, and these weren't on the shelves.

I'll try the DCPI tomorrow.

 

It's about time, I was losing my mind waiting to hear more news about these things. 

 

Do they both use the same DCPI?

 

This two pack is entitled "Standoff beneath the streets". Yeah, thats exactly where I would expect to see a helicopter and a space ship.....beneath the streets.

They ship 2 per box, with one of each set inside.

 

Hmm... i don't think that i've seen Ratbat in Beast Mode yet but so far i have no real disagreements about its Robot Mode

 

Dirge vs Roadbuster = C. Starscream and C. Defense Hot Shot
Ratbat vs Springer = Noisemaze and Evac

I only like roadbuster and ratbat, if I buy one set, will someone trade for the other with me?

YYYAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!! Now I can go hunting for them cause I know I'll never find them!!! 30 bucks?! Yikes!!

 

I'll have to check my local Targets today and see if they have these in yet.

As far as the $30 price tag, I think that's fair for a Deluxe (~$10.00) and a Voyager (~$20.00) plus an extra comic. Besides, they're Target-exclusives; they'll be on clearance in a month anyway, just like Deep Space Starscream, Universe Constructicons, Overbite/Repugnus, Ultra Magnus/Skywarp, etc.

if i end up buying these sets i'll definately be selling my ratbat and dirge as i really dont care for either repaint but its nice to know they're starting to move

 

I'm sure they will be on sale at some point, for $25 or thereabouts. Not to mention the $14 clearance price many stores will see.

They've been out in Canada for awhile now.

Checked the machine at a local Target here in Chicagoland. That store didn't even have them in the storeroom yet. Tim = Sad Panda.

 

$30...wow...really?! I guess it's fair but still...30...ugh...maybe I'll have to pass.
