whats up with all the Scourges? i really like this one....very nice!!

 

They were part of a recent contest on Sector70.

 

Satomiblood is correct! These were all part of "The Ultimate Scourge" contest over at Sector70. These have all been done for 2 weeks now, but we couldn't post anything or reveal who created them until Tuesday when the contest ended.

As for the comment, tony77tony77, thanks bro! Glad you dig it.

 

I'm sure there will be someday. Allen (SQ7) has mentioned that he'll let everyone know if there will be (on another thread a while back). This was my first custom contest entry ever and I'm proud that I actually did well. But I'm also proud to see that everyone put their hearts into it and did something different, yet great. It depends on what I have going on, but I may have to enter more contests--it's a lot of fun and it pushes you to think outside the box when you're on a time crunch. I will say that I liked the fact that these were all anonymous entries until the contest was over. It kept the focus on the work and not the individual artist.

And Andy, it's great to hear a confirmation on contests here--very cool! It seems to bring out some cool entries, no matter what the subject matter is.

Absolutely fantastic work man. I love everything about this. Like everyone has said, that was some stiff competition there, but for some reason, this one just stood out to me....that's why it got my vote.

Thanks, man! I made this Scourge for a contest (and for my own collection). I don't really make these, but I did have a few interested parties who asked if I did commissions (at the moment, that's a no). I wish I had the time and materials to do 'em for those of you that are interested (too much going on, including my own customs work). Just head back to my original post and you'll see what materials/bots/parts I used and maybe you can give it a go. I'm always available to help out with any tips on it (this goes for anyone).
