Picked these up tonight and I'm LOVING the colors...

I must say transforming them is quite a challenge... ESPECIALLY Scavenger... In fact, I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with the assembly of his arms... Can anyone else confirm this??? It seems like there's something wrong with the mold or something that makes transforming him rather difficult... It also seems to make the arms misaligned in certain positions as well...

Other than that, these guys kick ass and I'm glad Hasbro FINALLY put them out after what seems like EONS... :thumbs2:

Sweet find, RW. I hope my Target gets these soon. Did you use the # 087060410 to find them?

    Yeah, I did...

I went up to one of them scanners and punched in the numbers using the buttons on the right hand side... It said they were in the stockroom so I had someone go back there to bring out the case and took the RID guys and left the beasties...

I'm pretty certain most Targets have their cases now and are just awaiting the release date... But I guess if you ask for them, they're just as willing to break them out for you... Good luck!!! :thumbs2:

He looks tempting and could be fun. How's the articulation on this guy?

Articulation isn't that bad... Combined, he's got knees, elbows, shoulders, head turns... Not bad at all...

Scavenger is by far the most fiddley of them all...

I can't wait to get him either, too bad his legs are overly thick in comparison to the rest of him, but that's my only complaint, and that's a really minor one.

I just got him and I am really happy with him. This color scheme should have been done to these molds when they did the Walmart ones.

If you extend the legs on both of the leg robots, that helps. It makes the legs longer, and he doesn't look so squat. Hope that makes sense.

I don't think Scavenger's arms are defective, just badly designed. They look stupid on the original too.

I just spent a good while messing around with these guys. The color scheme is so great. The individual bots are very nice but I think that Bonecrusher is a little out of place in his much smaller size. Assembling Devastator isn't that hard, although I did get stuck at the end when I was attaching the chest piece and the bottom peg didn't fit in the different shaped hole. Then I finally noticed on the directions (At the last step) that you are supposed to put it in at an angle and turn the chest piece so that it fits. Silly me. I definitely recommend this set!:thumb

Yeah Scavenger is kind of annoying. I think the right arm was reversed on mine, but I just popped out the ball-joint and reversed it back.

Scavangers arms are a total pain in the ass and really poorly designed.

The shovel on my Scavanger had the pin in totally wrong. It was on an angle and one end was sticking up some. It was digging into the plastic. With a little pulling, I managed to pull it free (only lost a little plastic on that half and a stress mark on the other half) and got the pin free. I had to put the pin in 'backwards' because it kept following the same, misaligned, path when I put it in from the same direction as it came. Now, the shovel tilts just fine. The outside bits of that joint are a little messed up but they are not horrible (far from it, really).

Are these remolded at all from the RID set (new heads, etc.), or just straight repaints. I'm buyin' em anyway, but I'm curious.

I don't have the original RID set, but I do believe these are straight repaints... :thumbs2:
