That would be cool too. Though, which Stunticons do you think will actually get a new mold? Most of them are probably going to be repaints of Autobots...

Maybe Dead End. Breakdown I figure is going to be the third (maybe fourth if they do Red Alert first) use of the Sunstreaker/Sideswipe mold.

Already getting Dragstrip... and Wildrider did get a Rodimus repaint (though, that's only in Japan... wonder if Hasbro will do their own at some point? Have to be different enough though...). So, yeah, Dead End as there really isn't anyone whom he can be repainted from.

Regardless, I don't care which of them Hound got packaged with, the fact that we got at least one Classic Casseticon is amazing. Maybe this will open the door for the other four, especially since two of them would be redecos anyway.

 

True enough. It is just great that Ravage got an update. Maybe we'll see more of them packed in with other deluxes later on in Universe.

 

I believe this comes from the Q&As at Botcon and SDCC when the figure was first revealed. (although having said that I now can't find that link).

 

I'm liking the idea of the oldschool characters being made into better toys. I LOVED my G1 collection as a 7yr old (I had everything from a red bumblebee to the $90 city one Metroplex or Maximus... can't remember the name)... The toys were fun, but even as a kid I was upset with the lack of achievable poses compared to GI joe characters.

These new classics look like the oldschool but OMG they have great poses! So far the only disappointment I've seen was the Classics Megatron. The purple nerf gun just looks silly.

 

Which is why I bought the Henkei version of the mold. At least he's in the right colors even if he is still a nerf gun.  

 

I covered the Botcon Q&A for TFW2005 and we were told Ravage would fit in Soundwave. If someone can prove otherwise, fine. But that's what we were told.

No big to me, between my vintage Ravage from childhood, three Ravages from TFC and TRU reissues and one KO version, I'm set for black cats that DO fit.  

 

God these look amazing! I can't wait to buy these. Finally a great update for Hound!

Damn, im gonna need to get 2 of these. 1 to put into my g1 stuff, and the other so I can use ravage in my MP/Alt display. wonder if G1 Ravage's pieces fin into this Ravage's rear hips. Would be rrrrrrreally cool if they did.

 

I believe they said at Botcon that they weren't sure, but they might fit.

I'm not too happy about Hound. The green is too bright.

 

Not sure if this was mentioned yet cause I don't have the time to read through 12 pages of posts but it looks to me like Ravage wouldn't fit in the G1 Soundwave due to his width. I'd say he'd prob fit into the TRU Exclusive "Classics" Soundwave reissue/repaint of Soundblaster. It would atleast make the toy's Classics label make some sense for the first time.

 

Where does folks memories go? Ravage attached in cassette mode to the back of hounds jeep form and infiltrated the ark and recorded information while he was in there...he then "escaped" after being caught so the autobots could ambush the cons with the help of ravage getting the faked info to megatron....

 

Eh, I recall Soundwave being carried in by Spike (because Spike is dumb) and that's when Ravage got the info from the Ark before Spike sounded the alarm and than Ravage was captured...
