Who is a good stand in for a classics/universe kup? I was thinking about armorhide from cybertron maybe. Any ideas?

If you felt like trying out a mod, an easy one would be to give his back end a windshield and hed be perfect. And maybe swap out his forearms.

 

how about the crossovers palpetine minus the wings? (you would have to paint him blue)

 

I've been using Brakedown, he just looks right next to the Dinobots. Someone has to tell Grimlock story!

 

I won't use Brakedown cos size. If that toy was a deluxe, it'd be happy days

 

Havent actually messed with him in hand but I think he's around the height of Classics Rodimus which is good enough for me.

 

-Animated Cybertron Optimus Prime Repainted Blue with Deluxe Ratchets head.

-Brakedown GTS. My only complaint would be that he's shorter than Rodimus.

-Spring for a Botcon Kup alone in the aftermarket. Probably about $50-$60

 

I'm planning this myself, as the botcon Kup will likely prevent Hasbro from doing a more G1 Homage Kup in the next universe line.
