Wow, that really does hardhead justice.
I plan on removing the old head entirely and doing a headmaster slot so I can use his G1 head.
Will solve a lot of probs.
And as cool as the shield is, makes him look too much like Onslaught.
I'll be selling it on here when I pick one up.

I was torn on this guy - I have not bought Onslaught yet as I prefer the Henkei version, but could not afford 40$+shipping for him - at first he looked like a repainted Onslaught...

But after seeing your review, he's a must-have. Apart from the head, he's spot-on Hardhead, especially harking back to his IDW comics version.

I think one of the Roadbot heads will do fine for Hardhead, I'll ask Movie Prime to start ripping of faces for spare parts...

Thanks, he was sold for the same on Robotkingdom, but both BBTS and Robotkingdom ship in company boxes, which are 100% guaranteed to get taxed in my country. doesn't matter if they ship it as Gift, customs will open the package and see the receipt they always include...   Thanks anyway though! I'll continue to hunt Onslaught and Silverbolt on Ebay...

There actually was a running change for the US Onslaught in which the siren, and leg cage issue was fixed. Here's my thread on it w/ a little video.

I saw this guy and red Powerglide at Wal-mart today. I wanted to read some reviews first, but I think I may go back and get him tomorrow.

 

Got him today. I like him a lot, though it took me an hour to get him back to vehicle mode. It's really hard to get his left leg lined up in vehicle mode. I don't like the shield. It falls off his arm a lot.

Got him today, what a sweet repaint. Definitely better than the Hasbro Onslaught, but not the Henkei one. His shield truly is awesome. Not a single issue with quality control on mine.

 

You have to shove the fatter peg through the shield a bit further than you might expect at first. And don't really even worry about the bottom peg. That'll keep it on better.

 

I got Hardhead last week.. he earned himself a spot in my top five favorite/most fun Transformers. Awesome.

 

Saw him today when I went to pick up Powerglide. And I'm definitely will be going back for him. He looks fantastic.

 

Glad to see Hardhead's meeting with some much deserved love, I'm on the prowl for red Powerglide, who'll probably elude me for months  

 

I want this toy, it fits Hardhead perfectly!
