Following on from Hound, here's the next part of 'the plan' so far; the colour scheme's a little brighter than his toy counterpart, but that's something I'll keep on tinkering with until he's finished.

(And because it was easy enough to sort out, I thought I'd throw in a Henkei 'repaint'...)

As always, C&C are more than welcome! :thumb

EDIT: Changed to the latest image to keep the board shot updated.

    Thanks very much! :thumb

Here's an update with a couple of extra bits and bobs and a colour tweak (which might be a bit more toy-accurate, but imagewise I reckon it's a little too dark)... :inquisiti

Nice work so far. I hope you plan on modeling Nightstick as well. :)

Actually, seeing this may motivate me to do some more toon styled Transformers rather than trying to design obscenely complex robots that somehow never get finalized.

Great work so far Rob! Is the most recent one showing up a little dark for anyone else? Or is it just the 5 different monitors I've look at it on so far? They are older monitors so it's possible.

SC: Yep, Nightstick'll definitely be making an appearance - and I look forward to seeing where your inspiration takes you! :thumb

    Solrac: Ta very much! :D

Jeff: Yeah, I reckon it's still a little too dark, but I'll carry on messing around with hue and contrast levels, then give it a sound beating with the post-process stick for good measure! ;)

Venks: Cheers, mate! It's a challenge getting the detail right without looking cluttered, but so far it seems to be working! Not been without its moments, though... :banghead:

And speaking of detail, the forearms/fists need a bit more work, but here's where things stand at the moment:

Here's the last update (and Henkei recolour) I've got time for before I'm off to Glastonbury to dance like a loon in the mud. ;)

Happy with how he's coming along, even though I still have to finish his shoulders and forearms...I'll start cracking on with those and his legs next week when I'm back! :thumb

    See you then!
