From what I know they were a very limited production run and the only way to get one was to buy an Aveo last summer. I didn't pay much attention since I wasn't in the market to get a new car so my details could be misleading.

"Expensive" and "foreign" are Swerve's middle and last names. You're not going to find one cheap at all.

That said, I thought Might Gaine had one a while ago. He may have sold it by now, dunno. At least it'd be more local.

We never got any solid information on this one. Whether it was actually officially released in any capacity whatsoever or whether it was still coming up, what the deal was, if it was a China-only thing or if it was coming to the USA, if it had been available in the USA but somehow anybody who got one failed to tell the rest of the world about it.

Also, the whole history behind it is just as weird. One of many theories is that someone at Chevy had a big load of money to dump for whatever reason and decided to order an exclusive promotional Transformers toy from Hasbro.

It's a shame that such a unique, original and one of a kind mold was so limited in production. Especially considering how it's all sorts of awesome.

This guy needs to be asked about at Botcon.

I lost an auction for one last week by $1.

I'm still working on it, but I'm not going for the BIN prices, that's for sure.

Was there ever a consensus as to whether this figure is considered to be part of the upcoming Universe line? The logo is that of the previous "Universe," but the aesthetic seems very much in line with Universe 2.0.

Are Classics/Universe completists going to be haunted by this figure forever?

    Nope. Because:

    1) Looks like a movie toy.
    2) Looks nothing like G1 Swerve.

Easy pass, and no lost sleep.
