I have the Classics with the Reprolabels upgrade. Better than both of the new releases. Real chrome G1 Style decals for the shoulder intakes and feet.. You can't beat that.
thats right ..the g1 anime did not have colored cones it was only the toys....btw this thing looks great....if hasbro wants to make a shitload more money they should release thundercrack and skywarpy too......to hell with the people who got the botcon exclusives ...I dont care if they paid hundreds for those figures.....come on hasbro release the other seekers in g1 attire
way to skimp on the paint though, all of a sudden regretting getting Henkei Screamer less. Interesting that his body is even lighter then henkei and he has silver stripes instead of greyish body with white stripes... edit: i do really like the color of blue on this version.
I love it but they should have done it like this the first time. I don't think that Hasbro or whoever is really all that together. They seem to be a little unorganized.
I think it looks pretty good. Now if only they would release Skywarp and TC. The Japanese market is getting them, so it's not like these are Botcon only items anymore. And it's been long enough since they were released to warrant a release with the 25th Anniversary line. I don't care about a few hundred people who want to bitch about the resale value dropping of toys they never plan to sell anyways...
That looks really nice, the new paint scheme makes him look like a mini-masterpiece Starscream, the only thing missing is the blue nosecone.
I don't see why they couldn't put the blue nosecone on this one. And it would have been nice if he had the same paint apps as the Henkei one. Oh well, I'll get one for MISB.
Wow, it's a good thing I didn't buy the original Classics Starscream. Even though I have Universe 2.0 Acid Storm, I'll definately buy this figure!
I'm so glad I picked over Universe Classics 2.0 Prowl over Henkei Starscream on retail, and will definitely wait for this one instead of Henkei SS! YESSSS!!
This is a definite buy for me. Even though he looks a little bland compared to the original. I think he'll go with the look of my other seekers much better than the one I have. That and the blue looks much better now. The nosecone would have been nicer if it was the same shade of blue as his arms, but it's ok as-is. Other than giving me a better looking Starscream, this'll also allow me to use my current Starscream to finish of my Thrust bash, and also do another bash, named Cannon
