Studio Series hasn't been in scale since... forever. Optimus is obviously too small for the other Autobots and Grimlock should be Siege Jetfire sized or bigger.

Then the Constructicons came and fucked it up even more.

    Because aliens.

I dunno - it was released and nobody reported it to the boards? Nobody? I know "I saw this last week and didn't think it was news" syndrome, but usually, at least eventually someone will mention it somewhere.

Also, no copies sold on eBay? None at all? So did this figure really get released in ultra-low numbers, and everyone who bought one without telling anyone just kept it for themselves?

I mean, even something as rare as Fun Publications exclusives can frequently found on eBay, albeit at astronomic prices.

That's what I thought, but a few fans jumped all over me when I made a comment about SS figures being out of scale with each other, a few months ago. They claimed they were all in perfect scale when clearly they aren't

Well, I understand why. You gotta remember that the Orlando version opened 7 years ago, and the Hollywood and Singapore installations opened before 2013, and so to have Evac toys constantly on the shelves requires that mold to constantly be in use to be sent to three different spots in the world; eventually, mold degradation was bound to set in, and it looks like it has recently done so.

    They do sell Ectotron, though!

There is 0 way that is has been released, I go to Universal very often (I even ran over there during passholder day yesterday, before official opening) and not even whispers of it being in stock.

Unrelated to your comment, the day that these release, I’ll make a special trip up there for mine. Anyone that has previously messaged me about wanting one, message me the day I post in this thread again. I’ve sort of lost track of who all asked for one. Assuming no limit, I’ll grab like 6 besides mine for those who wanted them ($5 upcharge, shipping, and fees; for those interested).

That's going to be fun to talk about.

"Yo, guys, has anyone seen As Seen In Parks Megatron?"

"Yeah, I saw As Seen in Parks Megatron on eBay. Haven't seen As Seen in Parks Megatron at the Universal Studios theme park, though, it looks like he's been bought out."

Especially when PvP had to get one somewhere himself.

Oh hey, a Studio Series figure based on a ride instead of a movie. Even the flavor text references the ride.

Almost sets the stage perfectly for the chaos coming with that new Grimlock.

Well shoot, I just ordered that set on the Universal online store last week specifically to get Kreon Evac. The product description and picture still feature Evac, but now I'm worried. Miss me with that green Beachcomber nonsense.

At last he appears from the shadows!

I want him even more now just for that little blurb on the bottom: "Pathetic humans! I will destroy you with harsh words and overly honest commentary!"

As someone else here said, even Hasbro knows what a precious gem Meet-n-Greet Megs is.
