I see a Tarn or two! Dropped by that very store Friday afternoon and they didn't have any.

Hello from about a displaced Englishman living about an hour north of Aberdeen, by the way  

 

Evo wave 1 has landed in Smyths Bromborough.
A few left over Blitzwing's and TMII Megatron's on the upper shelves but no sign of Tarn.

 

This was Newport Smyths today. No Tarn sadly

 

Still no Needlenose on smyths website tho!

 

Anything else new due to crop up in GAME a'la Motormaster, H.I.S.S. Megs et al or have we had all the goodies now? The last month or so there's been at least one new TF in there every time I went in (I go twice a week), so I've been pretty spoiled of late. Then last Friday it was all just stuff I'd already bought. Went home with mixed feelings that day. On one hand slightly disappointed at no new TF to take home, but on the other hand my tired wallet breathed a little sigh of relief.

 

If I remember that leak listing, I think we are missing Bomb Burst?
Speaking of that core class, are the new core classes shows up in Toysmyths or FP etc? I know ID and Amazon had them but they were import.

 

Smyths don't tend to carry core. ID's (and Pulse's) were from Hasbro

 

I’m sure a £12 Skylynx was mentioned (unless I’m remembering wrong) he’s the main reason iv’e been refreshing the Game and House of Fraser websites religiously over the past few weeks!

 

And a £7 Inferno. They’ve both been at that price so might not appear again I guess?

 

Where is the best place to get core then if not ID or Amazon (and eBay) assuming if GAME doesn't get Bomb Burst? I know The Entertainments had a few cos I bought SSB Shockwave from there.

 

Game had BB on their website for a few hours at £3.99 it sold out fast but from what ive heard nobodies orders were fulfilled.

No legacy Evolution at all on the site still, not even Breakdown who's technically part of Evo but packaged as Legacy

 

Preston GAME have a £24.99 Galaxy Shuttle, a £25.99 Laser OP and a £44.99 Megatron HISS Tank, the rest is the usual  

 

Yeah Entertainer have had a few through but not all of them. I've only seen the first Studio Series wave and some Legacy w1? w2? Both? Not sure I've seen Spike, Ratchet or Rumble on shelf in the plastic.

You tried Pulse?

Why not ID or Amazon?

Bomb Burst is due a repack in Evolution w2

 

Well right now-

ID- Sold out

Amazon- Got him for £20 which is overly price (Core class are usually less than £15)

Hasbro Pulse- Sold Out

Ebay- Super expensive due to oversea delivery which is not worth it.

I'm not super desperate to get him per say but with the Evolution being out, I thought the B B was out by now?

 

Speaking of cancelled, Amazon have cancelled my preorder of TM2 Megatron on the day they finally got stock in, and seemingly to sell it at a higher price. And in a bit of a dirty tactic, the claim is that it is for lack of stock, when it has been in stock all day from them.

Speaking with them has gotten me a credit for the price difference, but now I'm wondering- anyone else who preordered at £39 from Amazon back in August- did they follow through with your order, or cancel it like with mine to sell the same stock at £63 instead?

 

Thanks for reminding me, I just checked my order and its coming tomorrow at the £29 I paid, no need to chase them up or anything, didn't get an email though letting me know it had shipped.

 

Smyths has just removed some listings on the site. Around 9 in total including Kingdom Rodimus, Legacy Bulkhead and Nightprowler. Hopefully they’ll add listing for the Legacy Evo figures soon so I can find where my nearest Tarn Is!

FWIW, I think mine was still showing as "arriving today by 10pm" when I checked on my midmorning break, though the lack of any dispatch had me skeptical. When I checked again at lunch, that was when it had vanished from my orders, with the cancellation sheepishly hiding in my inbox.

I hope it goes better for you, but I think that unless you get a dispatch email today, it's not something to put any faith in for tomorrow.
