Ah well they've gone now, had a sweep of the store to see if they'd been put/dumped anywhere else and couldn't see them, nor could I see a shelf edge label for them or gap on the shelf for them.

Oh well maybe somewhere else online will get them back in at some point (though I'd rather get Earthrise Rung for the map piece)

 

Smyths York had basically all the figures listed on the site except Airwave (I think), sadly that meant no SS Soundwave unfortunately. Hopefully London FP will have them.

 

I’m popping their some point this week as wanting Allicon, been checking the site daily which is strange as it was saying there was 7 airwaves in stock as of yesterday lol and 2allicons

Also Tesco have their sale on so hoping to grab some bits for my son and my brother

Swung by Forbidden Planet London today, had all of the newest two waves of SS (including ROTF Soundwave, which I was after and bought), and wave 1 of Earthrise and some Siege. Pretty sure I saw Sixgun on the shelf! Also had a large stock of Masterpiece figures, including MPM Starscream. Finally pretty sure they had Skylynx too. Can't remember much else, was only brief!

I was dithering waiting for a Bluestreak restock that either never arrived or actually came and went of Thursday so I missed Hothouse - I'd like one, but I don't really want to pay a premium for it - anyone got any ideas of another place that might get some stock of that one in...

Also isn't Bugbite due soon - or has that been pushed back ?

 

Is there any more info on that Diamond burglary? Is it related to the Comics and Cocktails one? It's scary to think how sophisticated the criminal fencing network has become if it even includes kids toys as prime targets to be worth taking the risk of serious crimes to obtain.

People that "hit" places like that tend to know exactly what they're looking for. My friend's comic shop got hit a few years back and they took his entire inventory of Walking Dead comics and trades.

 

Yeah, but what is the demand on a black market? I can see the sort of demand for TVs and games consoles, and I can see the demand for antiques and expensive jewelry and art- both very different ends of a spectrum. But a Darth Nihilus light sabre? Nobody from those two groups would be interested in that. And the only other decent marketplace is ebay (or a darkweb equivalent)- is the money that that would raise worth the crime? Looks like yes, and that's a very bad reflection of our society at the moment.
