I know, and it wasn’t just 1 or 2 that may have been found in the back of the warehouse somewhere, there must have been 3 or 4 cases worth, Dragonstorm included.

 

To be fair i've wanted Dragonstorm for ages, just never saw him a retail.

Yep I was in Smyth's Leicester yesterday and they had a ton of them pretty much floor to ceiling in Overload. Didn't realise this was a new sighting.

I’m guessing they’ve found a ton of stock from somewhere and just decided to chuck it all out on the shelves.

 

I like them both, but I like them because I got them at B&M for £12.99 each.

Dragonstorm I paid about £30 and I love it.

 

IIRC they were at discount stores in the US last year so I'll have a fiver on these being new gray imports.

 

But they will no doubt be on sale at full whack.,Farnborough Smyth's had the last knight leaders in yesterday for £45.99!! Can't see them shifting anytime soon.
I'm heading that way today so will try and get a pic and price update

I can see the higher prices on these leaders dropping In a few weeks just so that they can say they're in the sale.

 

TLK leaders in my local Smyths. No overlords.

£45. To be fair I think movie leaders were like £65 when they first came out. But then the whole line of TLK figures was inflated.

 

I'm happy with the voyagers, they are much better and not so kibble-tastic. The leaders never really appealed to me barring Dragonstorm.

Speaking of Smyth's, it seems the portrack one is trying to make room for siege and more SS figures, lots of turbo changer Dragonstorm for £14.99, and I'm talking like 10 of them. They had a few seige deluxes on the shelf with more boxes up top, 2 rotf megs and screamers from the SS line with a box of deluxes on the top. Strangely enough no seige voyagers or leaders, Hope they come soon.

Does anyone know if Smyths have restocked on siege leaders? Online it says everywhere is out of stock but I know their site isn’t always reliable

 

It's worth checking your local out if you can do so without going out of your way due to their "Surprise Stock" tactic, and, unfortunately, we have evidence in this very thread that telephoning to find out may not get you correct info.
