FP Bristol have wave 1 POTP deluxes in, multiples of each (£18.99 each) - and a couple of TR Overlords (£54.99).

So what should we expect from Toys 'r' Us now, folks? Out with a bang or a whimper?

They're going into administration so if they don't find a buyer, they'll head into liquidation, stock will be sold off increasingly cheaply, stores will close, and that'll be it.

So I guess we keep an eye on them for any sale stock (hopefully there's stuff that's been gathering dust in warehouses and such)?

And yes, that does sound mercenary :/ Having grown up with them, I'll miss Toys 'r' Us, but I'm trying to find an upside here.

Just going from experience in my former career dealing with insolvency....

I imagine you might see a few strange offers but mostly it'll be existing and fairly new stock reduced by 10% each week once things wind down (or 'wind up' if you know your insolvency lingo).

It's very sad but seems to be the way with a lot of places that haven't modernised or responded to the times. Probably some aspect of poor internal management too.

Bridgwater B&M finally had the TR Deluxes in yesterday. No legends as yet, One Sky Shadow & quite a few of the RID combiners. The movie leaders had all gone.

Found a lone Dragonstorm in B&M Dumbarton so bought him

Still some TR Gnaws, TR SixShots and a TR Kup. Plenty of TLK Legion and Leader Primes.

Yeah £5.99. I'd all but given up on them appearing here after reading that they, along with their shelf labels had been and gone elsewhere. Just waiting for the Legends now!

I nipped into Golden Square’s Entertainer yesterday, no POTP. They did have a bunch of Sky Shadows for £27, and the TLK Leader Megatron for £32, which was slightly tempting. Really surprised no one’s had the POTP Leaders in yet, didn’t expect Smyths to get the Studio Series before them.
