Yeah, they may not pay tax, but Amazon sure are good at exporting figures (although Generations Blitzwing still says it can't be shipped outside of the US, despite the same page offering Global express shipping.

No wonder distribution is awful in the UK if the retailers are importing them! I thought Hasbro shipped them and then the store puts them on display!

God damn it TRU UK -.-

I see Tesco have a sale on selected AoE items.

    One-Steps at £7, Power-Battlers at £10 and Flip-Changers at £17.

Funny that they leave the grossly overpriced Sparker things at £15. Also highly annoying that the AoE Constructbots are still normal price too as that would've been the only thing I'd have wanted to buy at the right price. Beast Hunters Deluxes still at £13. Abominus sets at £19(.99?).

Still, the sale explains why some of my friends dropped in earlier with some One-Steps for me as Birthday presents (for today is that day). I'd previously told them I'd only buy them if they were really cheap, and they reasoned that what's cheaper than free as gifts for me, especially if it costs them less to buy because there's a sale on? :)

    Drops...and danglers

Want to 'bling' up your phone and ensure that your children never, ever, ever sleep again? 'Juicy Drop Pops' are now packaged with TF4 danglers (I believe that is what the kids on the streets are calling them nowadays), there appears to be 6, as they are symmetrical (Optimus head, Optimus body, Autobot symbol, Decepticon symbol etc.), picture attached...mmm...sweet....

Anyone way of getting the AoE deluxes cheaper than TRU's £15 price besides importing from US? They don't look worth more than £10

I bought one for my lad and one for myself the other day and they are absolutely foul!

Probably worth 79p for just the charm though.

AoE Dlx Strafe Evolution two-pack at Norwich TRU. About half a dozen on the pegs. Just check when you select though as a couple of them had some nasty stress marks around the pin joints.

Also, TRU currently have a 'buy one, get second half price' offer on AoE toys. Really annoying when all I wanted was Strafe as I picked up the other AoE Gens a few weeks back. Actually, wish I'd waited on Slug so I could've had him with a Minicon too. That said, I already have these decos from when they were repainted for DotM.

And a final treat, anyone in/near Norwich, drop into 'Gifted' in the Castle Mall as they have various G1-themed novelty items: foam card models of Optimus and Bumblebee, Optimus egg cup and Autobot logo bread pattern maker thingy (£7.99), Autobot logo-shaped mug, Autobot logo-shaped light, hardcover notebooks and metal drinks bottles with Marvel comics artwork of Optimus on. Plus they had a variety of those little figure things with the big heads (can't remember what the line was called - 30th Anniversary Mini-figures?). They have the five figure gift boxes (£14.99), carded ones and blind-bagged ones (either £2.49 or £2.99). Also Battle Masters. I'm sure I'm missing some other odds and ends, like keyrings and whatever. There was a lot to take in and I didn't have a camera on me.
Dunno if Gifted have other branches around the country (looks like it's just one store and they don't do mail order), but it might be worth checking out your local gifty type shops for these items just in case.

Interesting. There's a new Home Bargains store opening here in Yarmouth next month. I'll have to keep an eye out.
