Thats interesting. The original was an HMV online exclusive (you would not believe the trouble I had getting a copy!) and this is listed as region free. I wonder if it is the German edition.

Anybody know if this is going to be released in a high def format anytime soon?

DVDs are fine, but the rips online tend to be HD (720p) and I would like to see all the episodes in that format rather than SD DVD.

 

Order the Australian blu ray release of Prime Season 1. Its region free.

They are still one to a case, still only a single sighting, and still TRU are not the most reliable. I wouldnt start gnashing teeth until you actually see one in your local TRU. With Prime in its current state, I cant see the line surviving much longer anyway.

 

I have been lucky enough to obtain a Vehicon although I had to import my voyeger Bulkhead as I was fed up of waiting to see if the wave 2 voyegers were being released in the UK.

I'm glad I did though - he is superb!

 

Slightly OT, but fellow Reading peeps might want to know that we now have a Home Bargains!!
It's in the same retail park as Matalan. Haven't made it out there yet tho, so DK if they have any TFs, fingers Xed tho...

Wilkinson (of all places) in Chippenham had Bot Shots wave 4, there where 3 Leadfoots and 1 Powerglide the others must have been sold. But it's good news that Wilkinson is finally getting back to stocking Transformers. They also had Transformers Prime deluxe wave 2 and Bot Shot launchers Ironhide and Optimus.

 

I went into TRU wishing for MP Optimus Prime to have miraculously arrived early, and I could be the first one to sight it.

I went into the TF toy aisle full of trepidation and there it was. Weaponiser Optimus Prime. Bugger.

On another note they have TFP wave 3? Hotshot, Knockout, Arcee and Ratchets were there, no Vehicons. I 'might' have picked up an extra to try to turn into a Batmobile. I even considered grabbing the Arcee to turn into Batgirl, but common sense, a knowing idea of my own kitbash skills and the £12.99 pricetag turned me off.

I did buy a HA Basic Autobot Whirl though, even though £9.99 is far in excess of what I wanted to pay. Boo.
