While there was nothing new, Smythes has Transformers Prime stuff at 25% off.

Reading John Lewis has nothing much. 1 Prime CV Dreadwing, 2 RID Ratchets and nothing else worth mentioning.

Reading Entertainer also has nothing. Seems like they're trying to shift their DOTM CV Legions. £5, buy one get one free.

If you look at the poll only 1 person said yes and 20 said no. Unfortunately I think Prime is going to be around a lot longer. I'd really wish they'd sweep it away and do a new series so we can finally say farewell to Bayformers.

Prime is pretty different from the films, in that it has characterisation, decent plots, and women aren't treated as objects to be oggled.

(Both do have awesome versions of Ratchet though, which is good.)

Finally got a RID deluxe Vehicon from Oxford Street John Lewis. I have been there 4 times in the last week searching.

The 25% offer expired this morning (despite the shop signs stating in expired on 30/08) so it was £12.95 and not £9.70. I'm desperately trying to ignore the money I've spent on the tube to justify why I didn't just pick it up online.

John Lewis seems like a good shout to get these from. Yesterday I asked them if they could look in the back for a Vehicon and they did but with no luck. I then asked about the next delivery date and they said today. Overall the staff are very helpful.

This now means that there are even more deluxe Knockouts on the shelf along with a few Hotshots, Arcees and a Racthet if thats what interests you.

    The thrill of the hunt!

Best of luck to everyone still looking!

I too found the girl in John Lewis, Nott'm very helpful when I found mine.

All of the other characters were out on the shelf but the only one which was in the back was a Vehicon! I still can't believe how lucky I was to pick it up.

The staff are very helpful and didn't mind looking in the back for further stock.

Third'd for helpful John Lewis staff. Woman in Brent Cross was perfectly lovely and tolerant of my request to check her system for 'the black one like this'.

John Lewis Newcastle doesn't have anything decent, just Bumblebees and the Cyberverse Playsets with an abundance of Bot Shots. Still no Wave 3, sigh.

Welcome aboard TheReynster, first post I see.

I'm leaning toward getting a Knockout, might see if I can get to Brent X tomorrow evening after work, assuming the lake has cleared.

Thanks - I've been lurking on the forums for a while mainly looking for the Uk sightings as there seems to be a lot out shortly.

Not sure if this is standard but if I see another Vehicon I can always pick it up for people here and meet in London to handover. I'm in now way looking to make profit so I'd charge what I had to pay.

    Is this the done thing?

Well if I've got this right handovers have happened in the past, and no one got murderballed and left in a ditch, so I think its OK.

If Brent X is on the cards I will do (PM or summat).

On another note Reynster, pop your head in the UK discussion thread, generally all non sightings but UK toy related go in here.

While checking out Asda on Coronation Rd this afternoon I noticed they have removed the Generations price tag, also the only Transformers on the shelf have been reduced to a handful of Commanders (Prime, Bulkhead, Ironhide).
