Anyone in Cardiff know where I can find a dotm voyager megs? The entertainer were all out of him and I sadly have no way of getting to TRU to check

 

Checked out Liverpool Smyths on my trip down to St Helens Hospital (Gaffed up left leg since birth. The only Doctor on the planet who seems to know anything about this condition - and he's in the Bahamas for a month. Gee, thanks for letting me know before I got up before t'crack o' dawn - still, got toys, so not a wasted journey  ).

First time in a Smyths, not bad. Huge load of stuff, no Cyberverse commanders that I could see, but plenty of deluxes and voyagers - so I grabbed Ironhide and Ratchet. Expecting Megatron and a few Crankcases throught he post tommorow, too  

(And I said I wouldn't buy any of this stuff. I'm a horrible person.  )

 

I assume that means you can't get to the Smyths either?

 

I could but I don't fancy the 40 minute walk in this weather.haha

 

It had gone by the time I got there this morning, but thankfully I asked the lovely, lovely staff there and they'd just got a new box in the back "fresh from the truck". So finally I have my MP Grimmy.

It seems noteworthy that when I asked, the guy smiled and asked how many I wanted. Scalpers?

 

TRU in Ilford has (unsurprisingly) DOTM stuff, but only Cyberverse Legion, Deluxes and Voyagers. No Activators or Gobots or Cyberverse Commanders, which I thought was odd.

They've also restocked on HFTD deluxes, I saw a couple of cases of Battle Blade Bumblebee x2, Ironhide x2, Recon Ravage x2 and Jetblade x2 (the first time I've seen him anywhere other than in Forbidden Planet).

Even though Jetblade and Ironhide looked tempting I passed on them all.

Smyths Friern Barnet also has DOTM, but again, only Legion, Deluxes and Voyagers. No Commanders, Activators or Gobots.

I've ended up buying the Prime and BB Activators and even though they're made of flimsy feeling plastic and are basically just smaller altered Gravitybots, I find them very neat little guys. Its more satisfying making them transform yourself, rather than letting Gravity do it. They're very expensive (£9) for their size though.

I can't see myself buying anything else until the Cyberverse Battlestations turn up, or until prices in general drop a bit.

 

TRU chester has got DOTM deluxes and voyagers in ( by the front door if your going there) theyre not on the main isle now for some reason.

they also had tons of wave 1 HFTD, where have they ben for the last couple of months?

sadly nothing much to report on John Lewis didn't have anything, Entertainer had an end cap but nothing bigger then a voyager, Forbidden planet had nothing in stock, ToyMaster had nothing but did say they were getting stuff in (anoyingly I went their to see if they had the final PCC items but sadly they didn't have anything TF related)

I actually went their early morning on the 16th about 9:30 and they didn't have any so I'd take a guess that they just didn't have room to put him out

 

They also had a Megatron but I picked that up   I'm hoping they at least put some deluxes out or something.. How's Tamworth TRU?

 

Where is toymaster? I only knew about fp, the entertainer and TRU In cardiff

 

I couldnt tell you i'm affraid, im on holiday this week and next, when i went in saturday as everything was being put out they had a bit of all the previous stuff mentioned but i imagine a bit has sold since then, thou i imagine more may come on the trucks this week

 

I didn't know about it till I tired out their store locator (that was my first visit). Its about a 20 min walk from Cardiff central the addressee is 19 Boverton Road, Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan, CF61 1XZ

But don't get your hopes up its a very small store about the size of the ground floor of FP and maybe smaller when I think about it.

I actually didn't know their was a smiths in Cardiff and I've even been in that area before just going around the car dealers.

 

Do you know if they ever got RTS wave 2 in? I still need a Wreck-gar...

Just a note that Smyths in Charlton has Leader SP in stock for £44.99, I declined and finally got a Leader Starscream for £21.99  

 

I imagine I'll also decline on Sentinel Prime, but did you notice how many Starscreams were left?

 

Leader ones? I think very minimum 6-7, I picked one up myself.

 

So Sentinel's out already, I was expecting more of a wait since he wasn't out the other day.
