That's quite clearly a shot of devil z there at the end, and this takes place before masterforce. I assumed that's what it was meant to imply.

Scourge riding on Skybite and Optimus Maximus riding on SkyReign is the most adorable/kickass thing to ever happen to CW/UW.

Now I really want a Grand Scourge Maximus boxset, lol.

Heh, that was fun. Going to miss Sakamoto's silly stuff as long as they're not female Transformers related.

Hell, I think the guy has potential to create classic cheesy Transformers stories featuring fembots, his designs are cute and everything. The problem is that he just can't control himself to sexualize them to borderline disgusting levels.

 

Really enjoyed these, and I hope Sakamoto continues making these for Transformers. His art is always awesome to see, very colorful and expressive. Also fun to see whenever he makes people buttHurt for one reason or another.  

I hope he does more IDW work in the future.

On a sexualizing-female-characters scale from 1-10, with most mainstream American comics coming in around a 7 or 8, Sakamoto's fembot chapter of this UW comic comes in at about a 3. I think people have blown this out of proportion. This is a million miles away from the Kiss Players guy and his work.

 

Again, I have no problems with sexualizing people. I have problems with sexualizing robots (which is pretty creepy in and of itself).

And seriously, I have never seen any mainstream comic featuring women with "that certain fluid" on their faces.
