He really does look amazing, but I’m still perplexed and annoyed at the size of him. He should have been at most a cm or two taller than challenger. They don’t go together at all! And I generally don’t like huge figures. Makes them harder to carry around and mess with and I don’t have a lot of shelf space. Why UT why?? He looks so good in every other way!

I’m sure that in person they’ll look great together.

The figure IS a bit thin though, but I understand they had to sacrifice some beef for a sleek jet mode.

Make sure you're on the computer, I couldn't see it when I was on mobile, which possibly was the problem

 

I wish the paint was done different...i like Rensora's v2 paint more...Other than that this one so much better

This. I also tought he is too big for Challenger but then i watched the scene Megatron took the staff from hmm. He is really that big.

OP has always been around 28, while Megatron is around 30. That means, Megatron should be about 10% taller than OP. But this Megatron is a good 15 to 20% taller.

 

And it's Challenger in the vid, right?

 

In my opinion it's easier to "push the envelope" with a figure, when the alt mode turns into something that's not from the real world. It also doesn't have 4 big wheels to hide either.

Plus I already mentioned that I just plain don't like big figures, so I'd prefer if they stuck to the official heights. The first movie was the only one where Megatron was significantly taller than Prime. In subsequent movies he was beefier and a bit shorter, then they really downsized him for TLK. I guess it was part of their "he's randomly Megatron again so we can do what we want" thing.

Although the size is bigger than ideal, I am still going to buy this. A cool toy is a cool toy.

 

Did anyone else notice the video was super sped up? I tried messing with the settings on the player to slow it down to normal speed but I don't read enough chinese to figure it out. Everything I messed with seemed to do nothing.

yes. it's, but i think the presenter did it in the editing, so now you play it with normal setting, it's still fast.

it does appear bigger than I thought. but i don't mind and i don't worry about the official chart too much. actually, I finally have another meg can match my WJ meg and op. mmmmhahahhah

 

That's definitely true. It's much easier to make something alien look like something alien no matter what form it takes. Just look at 2007 Megatron. He's a mass of spikes and jagged edges (and a good looking one at that IMO). Hard to get more alien than that. As a result, his MPM transformation is significantly less complex than other MPMs because he doesn't have to incorporate alt mode aspects like Optimus, Ironhide, Starscream, etc.

This guy, however, utilizes two forms that both closely resemble forms potentially unique to Earth; a knight in mid-evil battle armor and a highly advanced fighter jet. Not only are these two forms completely different from each other and from completely different eras, but neither form incorporates anything from the other (again different from Optimus and others).

The fact that they nailed both forms so well despite these differences and challenges (I.E. Airplane nose, wings, ancient armor etc) is amazing IMO. He may not have 4 big wheels to hide, but he has plenty of other stuff to

Nay. All we know is that KO is a half head shorter than FL that is supposed to be 29,2cm tall (stated by ShowZ). So Knight Orion might be ~1cm taller than Challenger at best or maybe he only looks beefier
