Wait, what am I looking for? I see a gap between body and arm, is that it? Looked on both my Sharkticon commando squad leaders and they look alright.

BTW, got my second group in from Captured Prey (CP). I had some order SNAFUs with CP, but Orson/Sidecutter has always made it right to date and I can't imagine that changing. That's really bad to say they won't replace it! And I like TFSource too, why'd they play that way? Maybe get more Sharkies from CP?

Also, did you charge it or use PayPal? Maybe you can use your credit card company and/or PayPal to leverage the replacement. I always do PayPal, even with a credit card. As an eBay seller I know this to be true, "In a dispute between a buyer & seller when PayPal is used, the seller is guilty until proven innocent."

 

The part he's showing is upside down, which I think means that its meant for the other side. That gap that you see in the otherwise circular arm cover is meant to go over the pin rotation mechanism for the arm. Since its on the opposite side, there's no space for the pin and the cover itself is, at best, in the gapped position he's showing above.

Bummer, dude.   Hope you have the problem resolved. My set was fine apart from one of the tails missing its peg handle which thankfully BBTS helped me fix.

 

As soon as I read the first sentence, it clicked - or it didn't (bad pun). That's so wrong...I still don't get the response though. The arms are interchangeable. Only Sharkticon Commando Squad Leader (SCSL) specific-pieces are the head sculpt and different paint apps on the gums/lips of the shark teeth. Odd response?

 

I finally got around to opening my set and they were all missing their tail maces! Damned annoying but I've emailed BBTS and hopefully they'll be able to ship me some replacements.

As for the figures themselves... aesthetically they're wonderful. Really cool in both modes, nice transformation which isn't immediately obvious and subtly shifts everything just so, personally love the proportions, and overall a lot of character.

They're definitely a fixer, though. The horns are OK for display but dreadful for even picking the things up. Probably just use a little varnish to narrow the holes, see if that gives them the grip to stay in. Mine also have quite a few pretty loose joints. The leader's neck and one of the other's forearms are the main offenders. The head I can live with (if anything, it gives him more character) but the arm I'll have to tighten up with some tape or some such. The legs are all just OK, stability-wise. They'll hold a pose, just about. Might need to do a little work there to make them re-pose and wobble-proof, though!

All in all, amazing little figures - just a massive shame mine came tail-less!

 

When my set from BBTS arrived the packet with instructions and the collector card was missing. I contacted BBTS about it and they quickly sent me a replacement. When I later took the Sharkies out of the package, I discovered a 4th gun rolling around in the package. I love this set but UT's QC appears to be all over the map.

 

I am finally getting these after far too long.
