Buy a 460 euros toy and you needs upgrades to make it more cartoon accurate, so sad.

For those that like the cartoon look, like I do, this is Bruticus. Awesome job to the customizer. Thanks for sharing this. I wish UT would have made the torso bigger and optional toon colored feet. Oh well.

This. I still have my UT set despite grabbing Zetas for Bruticus. Just can't seem to let them go. Swindle and Brawl especially.

 

Hello guys I've already uploaded all the pieces to shapeways, but it is too expensive to sell them through that site, so I was looking for other alternatives, I'm looking for a partner in case someone is interested to make it available to you guys, please contact me. Im leaving some pics here, I had some time the last weekend and I could paint the whole combiner, and then took some pics of each Combaticons and then Bruticus, Merry Xmas , I will post the shapeways links to the original thread anyway.

So I just recently got ahold of the full set. And before I start really messing with them. Does anyone here have a list of issues that they all have? Things to look out for or that need fixing? Springs needed cut or pieces needing some filing etc.

 

Be very gentle with Kalecgos, their ratchet are a bit fragile... The ones you need to look after are the ratchet in the waist and the transformation joints in his thighs.

Yeah I’m definitely feeling those ratchets on him. Insanely tight. Thanks for the heads up! I may do some surgery on him later tonight to see what can be done.

 

I found out after breaking him that they put the hip spring into my combined form knee causing the ratchet to break in the knee. I ended up getting another kalecgos cause mine had other issues too. second one was perfect. If you find one joint is too tight and the other kinda loose this might be your problem too.
(TCP reached out to UT for me but no word yet. Then again I got a replacement part for my tfm menasor almost 1.5 years later so who knows!)

 

Nice! That’s good to hear. I went ahead and removed the ratchet in his waist and let friction do it’s work. Same for the hip ratchets. They are tight enough without them that I’m not worried about breakage. I’ll definitely pop those leg combiner joints open to see what’s up though. The one thing that is stumping me is those arm bots. Do they actually have elbow rotation or is that just nonexistent? I’ve seen some people rotate them but mine are dead tight and I won’t try to move them anymore.
