That pic is really pushing me, but I still think I'll wait to see the desert version and decide. As much as I agree with the base color being green, since the physical truck itself is indeed a faded military green, it does look a bit off to me. I'm tempted to try customizing it with some browns and rust bits here and there but who knows, if this version is still around when the desert version is finally shown I'll compare and decide then.

It is very much like their AoE Galvatron. They nail the shape of the robot mode by making small sacrifices to the alt mode and articulation. And it's built solid as a tank. And just like Galvatron the transformation is a lot, but still manageable.

It's all very clever. If you liked their AoE Galvatron, you'll like this.

 

I dont have that one haha. I dont have any UT figures. Galvatron looked cool but didnt had the money at the time to get it.
Saw reviews and he looks solid so maybe this megatron needs to be my first UT figure

Got mine today! He's definitely a bright green under all the rust and dirt but I don't really care at this point. I'm not counting on the desert version to release any time soon.

That's the plan. I'm more than prepared at this point, just need to settle on what kind of weathering I want for him.

 

I feel like mine got here super quick from ShowZ. Only had a short bit to mess with it, those shoulders are annoyingly tight on mine and they don't hold worth a shit. Seems like UT like Zeta doesn't account for paint in their tolerances when sprayed on tabs and holes.

 

Just got notification from Show Z that my Standard version has shipped. FUCK YES!!!!!!! Can not wait until I can get some paint on him.

Agreed. Just not a fan of the green although it doesn't look horrible.

 

Is there a trick to getting the chest/back tabbed in fully? Looks like it should sit flush but it won’t collapse further together.

Tried finding a way to insert the batteries and for the love of god even after it was explained ( thanks BTW) no success LOL. Is there like a video for this? I know I’ve seen several figures where this was explained.

 

As of now my only holdup with this figure is the the dirt on the battle damaged version. I heard it flakes off during use, and my last experience with a 3P with similar battle damage (PX Trypticon) was not pleasant to say the least.
