Yea..I also got the upgraded head for the details and LED lol. I'm a sucker for small details.

I also order his upgraded UT Head/Sword holder along with the upgrade kit for bumblebee MPM, Two LED blaster for NewAge soundwave (although i think its a little scaled for DMK), and 2 cannon attachments for BMB ironhide. I don't see many people making mods for these figures so I jump on as soon as I see anything interesting.

 

Is it still able to transform with the new upgraded parts?

Yes but the two side ab pieces need to be removed. They are tabbed in so its fairly easy to remove. The center ab/chest piece replaces the original version and is pretty much the same size.

Yea..lol..I was checking out his instagram and he posted some pictures from before of different mods he did.

 

I think I have a couple days before the head is ready so I will see if there's anything else I wanna order (not that I should be spending more money now...).

 

I do want that chest upgrade but may have to wait a month or two and hope he's still offering it then.

Also would love to see some news/ more images on the "battle damage" reissue. It's got the TMT Optimus to compete against now as well so hopefully UT go all out on the deco (moreso than the leaked images a while back).

Hmmm, brighter silver, which is consistent with the earlier promo shots, the same red and blue colours, and battle damage on the hands, which still remain unpainted full grey underneath, I'm 99.9% sure these are official pictures of it.

Does the battle damaged version still have clean truck parts? I hope it does. Clean truck, dirty robot, just like the movies, and due to how it transforms, that's 100% possible.

Damn, $180? I know they're usually a little higher priced but Showz had Challenger up for $99 just a few months ago...

 

Cheapest I see them on eBay that is if you can find one is around 250 and its usually used/pre-owned. If this one looks nice in truck mode I will get it.

 

Hi all, hate to plug here, but he’s not that expensive, if you get one from board members. I’ve got one reissue (complete, not transformed, near mint) for $150 in my sales thread  .

 

ShowZ has the repaint for $135, I wonder if TFSource, TCP etc will get in touch with UT to make ShowZ raise their price like they do with Fanstoys/XTB products  

 

It's been reissued a few times and in a few different colors so if you don't have one by now then I guess you're SOL for getting it at a reasonable price. I'll say this as a HUGE lover of this figure: I don't think it's worth more than $180. Hell even $180 is really REALLY pushing it.
